I love jellies, I had a pair of Steve madden jellies ballet flats that looked like the ones from when I was a kid. Unfortunately my Steve madden jellies broke and they are no longer carrying them. I was looking for a new pair, decided to try the crocs brand, because the reviews of other brands on amazon were not that great.I normally do not like crocs, but I love these. very comfortable, fashionable. I can wear them all day. no sweaty feet, these will not break like normal jellies do. I normally wear a size 7.5 shoe, sometimes in flip flops I wear a 7. my old Steve madden jellies were an 8. I went with a 7 in this shoe, I do wish they had half sizes however I think an 8 would have been too big.I am looking for a clear pair in the croc brand. I would definitely order more when they are back in stock. the price is similar to the Steve madden brand ones I have previously bought but the quality is definitely better.
The idea of Crocs never appealed to me--chunky, foamy, sweaty, lumpy--and for what I perceived them to be, they're not that cheap, either. But I needed a versatile summer shoe for a beach vacation, they were on sale, and I have a soft spot for the jelly shoes of my youth., so I took a chance on these. What I wasn't expecting was how comfortable they were. I walked at least a mile in them to make sure I'd be okay while away, and they did great. Plus, they have excellent traction. I don't have the most stable knee joints, and these make me feel really secure in their grip on the ground. And when complimented on them (and I occasionally am), nobody believes they're Crocs until I show them the logo on the heel. This is my second pair. I bought them in case they discontinue the line, I'd have a backup. But after almost a year of heavy city trekking (I rotate between these and a worn-out pair of Clarks), the first pair show little sign of wear. The surface isn't as shiny, but it's barely noticeable.Something that may bother some people--the shoe interior has a bumpy surface, like a rubber stubble. It was strange at first, but it didn't bother me too much. Plus, they only come in full sizes. I'm a wide-ish, 6.5-to-7, and I ordered a 7. They fit great in bare feet or with stockings.Plus, if you step in anything...unsavory...you can just scrub them down like a kong toy.
And that's just what they'll do! Oh my goodness, I love these shoes. I bought them just prior to a trip to Japan last summer. They had no breaking-in period. I did not get blisters, even though some days consisted of five plus miles of walking. They are cushy, never get smelly, and literally give your feet breathing room thanks to the open design. I live in Hawaii, and these shoes are perfect year-around for our climate. After six months of wearing these 3 to 4 days a week, they are still in great shape. You can dress them up or down. If you had a pair that looked like these in the 80s, they will make you nostalgic, but the comfort far supersedes those old-school jellies from the past.
Love these crocs. They are stylish and comfy. No one can tell they are crocs brand. These are my go to shoes. They are neutral color that go with a lot of outfits. The only down side is sometimes my left foot can make an "air fart" type of noise at times lol.
I was excited to see the jelly trend of my youth returning, and even more excited to see that comfy crocs brand had a version, because the old style jellies hurt, these do not! These flats are so comfy to walk around in all evening and are very breathable. The muted black color I chose goes with almost anything! I get lots of compliments when I wear these. I hope they hold up, although they do seem well made.
Crocs has a serious quality control problem; I returned two pairs of these - ordered 3 pairs of size 8's - completely differently lengths and widths for all the size eights - kept one pair of Isabella Jelly II flat sandals - big mistake, I did not check these close enough - then I wore them - the right shoe is longer and wider than the left shoe - I kept them in the box too long for return and then wore them - I cannot even keep the right shoe on after wearing one day!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the shoe, but not the size, i got a size 9 and it slips off of my heal often , could cause you to fall if you are not well blanced. There needs to be half sizes because a 9 is a little to large and an 8 would most likely be to small. But i still wear them they are prtty comfortable. And i think the price is a little high because of the sizing and the shoe is kind of flimsy. Also i was expecting a black shoe but i am my husband say these are more of a chocolate color.
I love these shoes so much this is the third year running that I've bought a pair of Isabellas. I just slip in a pair of washable black inserts to soak up the sweat, and I can walk for miles in these. I literally have. They're absolutely my go-to shoe in warm weather because they're comfy and cute. (And women ask me, "Are those jellies?" and I say, "Why yes they are! And super comfortable because they're Crocs!")
