Cute shoes, hard to find a darker brown shoe so the bronze was just right. I generally listen to reviews so I ordered down from my 6 to 5.5 and this time should not have, they were tight so reordered a 6 and perfect. On me, they are not an on your feet for hour shoes but comfortable for occasional not all day use. The arch support is minimal but soft inside at least. Good heel height. That shape toe I think for me is the reason for not long wear use. Well made as Clark’s shoes always are. I got them to wear with a brown sweater dress for thanksgiving so am happy with these and the try before you buy feature.
I like Clark shoes but I usually need a narrow and this shoe does not come in a narrow. But it is nice looking, I liked the heal and it felt like it would be a comfortable shoe, except I couldn't keep it on. So I am returning it.
Nice appearance and color and leather is so soft they are comfortable from day one but leather is so soft that they come off my foot when I walk and are about a half size too big. I have 13 other pairs of Clark’s shoes in the same size and this is that only one that is too big.
I have been looking for some nude or cream colored shoes. I need something to accommodate a bunion that can be worn in a business setting and is comfortable to walk, too. These shoes are very pretty - I think classy. They were comfortable and made it almost 10 hours before I could feel my bunion. That's a win for me.
5mm foam insert with a line stitched through the foam to give the appearance of support. See my video. 8w felt like a medium width and the heel flops off with each step. I even got some heel stabilizers that didn’t help. Clark’s used to be a high quality shoe. It’s now more like a shoe from a budget retailer. I bought another pricey pair of “unstructured” Clark’s to replace an older pair. They too have seen a precipitous decline in quality. I’m sad to see old brands dip in quality after a takeover. I guess I’ll mosey on down to a brick and mortar store to buy a decent pair.
I love the style but the shoes are too wide in the heels. My foot comes right out of the shoe when walking. I tried my regular size shoe and a size smaller and both were too long and wide in the heel of the shoe. They were returned.
