I absolutely adore these shoes! I was a little concerned over previous reviews talking about how difficult they are to secure, but when I got them I realized they aren't meant to buckle and unbuckle. They have elastic so you can just slip your foot in and out, but still have the cute look of the strap. They are my favorite shoes right now!
Loved this shoe but I returned it. It was too tight across the top of one foot and squeezed my small toe. The shoes are well made except for the strap. It is fastened by an elastic cord that goes around a chunky button. Not sure if it will last as long as the shoe!All that said--if you have a skinny on top foot and aware of the closure, it is a well made comfortable shoe.
As comfortable as my slippers and well worn hiking boots! Strap was too loose, so double wrapped the stretchy loop around the buckle. Perfect fit. But, I do not like the contrasting color (grey) stitching. Makes it undressy for church, so exchanging for a different Clarks Mary Jane.
Cute shoe unfortunately it's too narrow even in wide size and the strap is not adjustable :(
The comfort is a problem because I have been wearing earth shoes for many years and they have a recessed heel which is required for my back . Other than that they are very comfortable, but I have a problem hooking them because of my aged hands.I thought it was the Velcro closure

These shoes were so cute, so cushy inside, and yet unfortunately or too small. I wish you companies would be more consistent in their sizings. I ordered a size 11 which I have worn a size 11 the majority of my adult and Teenage life. And these shoes unfortunately were too small. They fit more like a 10.5. Because they were leather I thought about possibly stretching them, but when you're paying this amount of money for a pair of shoes you do expect them to fit right out of the box.
