I broke my ankle six weeks prior to my daughter's wedding. I had already purchased my long dress and my plan to wear heels with the dress ended with the break. Fortunately my Dr. felt I would be able to wear flat shoes without my brace for the evening of the wedding so I went on my search for shoes for the dress.After going to every store I could think of and having no luck at any of them, I saw these online. Frankly I didn't even know if they'd work with the color of the dress (which was a dark teal). They arrived quickly and fit perfectly! The jewel embellishments on the shoes are truly beautiful, the color was a great compliment to the dress and, after breaking them in around the house, they felt great throughout the wedding and the reception. Honestly, I would have loved to wear heels but these were beautiful and looked much more expensive than they actually were. Included in the shoe box was an envelope of additional small jewels, in case any fell off the shoes. Haven't needed them yet.I loved the Betsy Johnson Lucy's and highly recommend them if you need a flat dressy shoe. They. Were. Wonderful!
This shoe is beautiful and was surprisingly comfortable. I am a bigger girl with a bit of a slightly wide foot and I always struggle with finding a comfortable flat shoe that doesn't hurt my feet after a couple hours. This shoe fit perfectly without feeling too tight, especially with the pointy toe area. I was able to wear these shoes for an event for over 5 hours and not once did my feet hurt. Sometimes I have rubbing on the back of my heels with other flats, but not this one. I came out with no blisters and total comfort throughout the day. I received several compliments on this pair of flats and it is the perfect black shoe to dress up for an event. It's a must buy!
I ADORE these shoes. Got them for my wedding (in the ‘blush’ color). They are absolutely beautiful in person. Just the right amount of glam, well designed, and elegant, with a unique touch in that the bottom of the shoes are aqua-blue! I wanted stylish flats (didn’t want to be too tall) and these work perfectly. I would recommend these if you have narrow feet (may not work for wide feet because the sides are open and your feet may bulge out). I got the size 9 (I’m usually 8.5 or 9) – they are extremely comfortable, well-constructed, and have great support for flats. Highly recommend!---Update after wedding: Blisters at bottom of feet; become a bit uncomfortable over time. Bottoms of shoes became filthy -- there is a weird fleece looking lining at the bottoms for some reason. Overall, still looked great.
I bought these shoes at full price and returned them because it wasn’t worth it. Saw that the price dropped to over 50% off so I bought them again. I’m not sure who these shoes are made for because they are definitely too narrow. I wanted the 6 Wide, but it’s not in stock. I’ll just stretch out the 6. And no, I don’t have big or wide feet. The cutouts of the first pair I bought were uneven so I’m glad this pair matched better. The material of the shoes does feel like it could rip, but it won’t. If only the shoes weren’t so narrow, they would actually be comfortable. For those of you looking for gold flats, the actual color isn’t gold. It’s a soft, pretty rose gold. These shoes can be dressed up or down and actually goes well with almost anything.Update: I wore these shoes to work and by mid day, they did start to hurt from rubbing on my feet since they’re so narrow. The shoes also doesn’t stay on well while walking as the material is flimsy so do not size up. My heels were slipping out of the heel part especially walking down hill. This is more of a shoes to wear for special occasions where you’re just gonna be sitting a lot. The bottom part is also slippery and taps loudly when walking on wood floors or tiles.
I love love love these shoes! I have been searching high and low for a size 9M in blush for my June wedding and I finally snagged the last pair off Amazon. Based on others reviews, I was worried they would be too narrow and tight but they are perfect! If anything, they are a tad big. I am 5'10" and generally wear a size 8.5M in sneakers and 9M in all other heels/boots/flats etc. The smidge of extra room at the back makes them super comfy. I wonder if someone else returned them and stretched them out for me because they are soooo comfy! The pictures don't do them justice with the amount of sparkle! The blue bottom is an added extra, especially for a wedding! I can't wait to walk down the aisle in them! Plus, they totally match our invitations! Bonus! I bought these flats to wear to my father's wedding after having had reconstructive surgery on my ankle a few months ago - still not back in heels, even low ones. :( I can't say how happy I was with these shoes - they are beautiful, and fit true to size, AND they are comfortable! The beading and detail work does not show up in the picture as it does in person, and it's lovely. I did not have any problems with the beading falling off. They are great for dressing up a pair of black pants, and with a dress they are beautiful. Very feminine and delicate. Love them!
The cut outs are very thin and fragile, they are stretched out and are about to snap. They broke a little over 1 month of light wear. I wore them about 4 times and I have narrow feet, no reason other than being cheaply made to break so quickly.
I’m so excited to wear these for my wedding. This is my third pair of shoes I’ve purchased and I think 3rd time is really a charm! Beautiful and comfortable! I wear a size 8.5-9 and I feel if I would’ve gotten 9 they’d be too large. They are a little narrow but I think that’s just the style, I have terrible bunions and they still fit!
