But this is my second order! First time I got 8 1/2 wide and shoe fell off my feet. They run big.I returned and ordered 8 wideAnd they are perfect, comfortable, smart looking, and have wonderful orthotic for my troubled feet. The sale price was a steal!
I like these shoes because of the support. My only complaint is they are not as supple as most Aravon shoes I have bought in the past. The toe area is pretty rigid and after a day of wearing my toes feel sore. So, I limit to half day at a time.
Aravon shoes never let me down! This pair is a an easy slip-on loafer/flat with some pizazz in the coloring and eye-lit design. The shoes fit to size for my feet, large and wide. They are a perfect moving into Autumn shoe, comfortable and sturdy, for an evening stroll, and dinner out.
I had very high hopes for these shoes. They looked perfect for our vacation. I had hoped they would be comfortable, sturdy, and supportive. On the contrary, they were ill-fitting and uncomfortable. I tried wearing them around the house to break them in but they were so painful I just couldn't.They did look exactly how I had hoped they would. But if a shoe isn't comfortable, it doesn't matter how it looks.I had ordered this brand as I really like Merrell brand shoes and I had read they have a similar fit and people who like one brand generally also like the other. However, that was not my experience at all.
These have decent arch support but they pinch on the top just before the toes. I tried stretching them with some boot shapers my husband has but it didn't do enough. The whole point was to swap the insole with my orthotic, but there is no way it will fit. Decent shoe, maybe for flat feet?
The shoes were fine but were too long for my foot
True to size. Felt tight in the toe until of flexed the shoe a few times with my hands. Not suitable to wear with thick socks unless you size up.
I have mixed feelings about this shoe. It is one of the nicer styles for those of us that have to wear shoes with inserts. I thought with the elastic panel they would be comfortable but toward the small toe they are very snug and during the course of the day my foot started aching. I hope I can get them to stretch our with a few wears but if not I won't be able to wear them all day at work. Keeping my fingers crossed because style wise I like them but being in pain by the end of the day rather defeats the purpose of buying this shoe.
