I was hoping that this shoe would be more streamlined than a hiking boot, perhaps more the profile of a sneaker. It was very clunky and ran large. I returned them.
Mephisto Allrounder Niro is my favorite shoe in any season. I wear both vented style and winter-ready version that has quilting and/or flannel between suede. Alas, red suede has adjacent material that is too open to keep feet warm but its tiny vents do not get enough air flow to feet to be comfortable in spring or summer. Returning.
