I ordered three pairs in two sizes/colors based on what was available to preview in the try before you buy feature. The green color that looks very brown from the product pics is actually more deep army green in person for anyone wondering. The blue is beautiful, so color wise, everything would have worked out for me. BUT. These are heavy shoes and I have feet that are on the narrow/flat side so the fact that the top is surprisingly rigid and doesn't hug my foot made them loose. The bands around toe and top of foot area are hard and tighter without being tight enough for me, but if they were any tighter those two spots would definitely rub and cause blistering so it's a lose/lose for my poor feet. I'm always between 8.5 and 9 so those are the two sizes I ordered to compare and my heel was still slightly hanging off the heel of the 9 so I'd say that they run a tad small. Sad to send them back but just passing along that if you're looking for something light and comfy, these are in no way/shape/form that shoe.
