I recently stumbled upon the TIEM Slipstream Indoor Cycling Shoes, and I must say, they have completely transformed my indoor cycling experience. As someone who has tried numerous types of cycling shoes in the past, the convenience and versatility offered by these shoes are simply unparalleled.First and foremost, one of the standout features of the TIEM Slipstream shoes is their unique design, which seamlessly combines the style of a casual sneaker with the functionality of cycling shoes. This means that I no longer have to worry about changing shoes when transitioning from my car to the studio. The ability to wear them from the car straight into the studio is a game-changer, saving me time and hassle. The fact that the Slipstream shoes are SPD compatible is another huge advantage. With these shoes, I can effortlessly clip into my bike pedals, ensuring a secure and efficient cycling experience. It's wonderful to have that extra level of connection and control between my feet and the bike, enhancing my overall performance and power output. What I appreciate most about the TIEM Slipstream shoes is their commitment to providing a comfortable fit. The shoes are designed specifically for women, taking into account the unique shape of our feet. The soft, breathable materials used in their construction make for a snug yet flexible fit, allowing me to pedal with ease for extended periods without discomfort or hot spots. While the clips for the shoes are sold separately, it's worth mentioning that this feature adds to the versatility of the Slipstream shoes. With the ability to customize the type of clip, I can easily adapt them to suit my preferred style of riding or swap them out if needed.Overall, I cannot recommend the TIEM Slipstream Indoor Cycling Shoes enough. They offer a perfect balance of style, convenience, and functionality. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, these shoes are a worthy investment that will enhance your indoor cycling experience. Say goodbye to the hassle of changing shoes and embrace the freedom and confidence these shoes provide.
My favorite amazon purchase thus far! A coworker had told me about these shoes and I started looking into them on their brand website. I had mixed feelings on what size to purchase, but when I found them on Amazon, I threw them into my cart ASAP! Normally I am a size 7 in shoes (casual shoes to athletics too). I had read several reviews suggesting to order a size down, but I stuck to my 7 and they fit like a glove! They’re probably the most comfortable cycling shoe out there, due to their casual design. Regular cycling shoes are stiff and almost a hard plastic material with no breathing room. The Velcro “shoe lace” is perfect. One stretch and the shoes are secured. The soles inside are not flat, so you still feel arch support in them. I purchased the SPD clips as well. Super easy to install. Again, my favorite cycling shoes out there; chic, stylish, and absolutely comfortable.I know Tiem promotes their shoes as very versatile, as in you can cycle with them and then do another workout. I personally do not feel comfortable using them for any other workout than cycling. You can’t really feel the clips if you want in them, but anything other than a flat paved surface will cause the clips to click or feel them on the ball of your foot. I bought them with the intention of only using them for cycling. I use them on the Schwinn iC3; super easy to clip in and out just takes getting used to!
Based on other reviews, I got these with no real expectations but I have been VERY pleasantly surprised!I bought these to wear in my spin class. I live two blocks from my studio so a shoe I could walk back and forth in was a plus for me.Fit: I wear an 8.5 or 9 in street shoes, and I wear an 9.5 in Brooks and Asics running shoes. I had been wearing size 41 Shimano road cycling shoes rented from my studio. I had orginally purchased a pair of LG road shoes in 41 and they were way too tiny and narrow.Based on reviews I read, I bought a 9.5 in the TIEMs. They do seem to run a TINY bit narrow, but not uncomfortably so. They feel secure in class. I have just enough room in the toe.Performance: I had read a couple of reviews stating that people felt the TIEMs were not stiff enough under the foot when clipped in, but I did not have that experience. They do feel very much like a cycling shoe, and have a stiff hard plastic under the center of the foot, so riding out of the saddle is just fine. They have more cushioning than other cycling shoes, which I really liked. I was comfortable the entire class, more comfortable than I am normally in the Shimanos.I do feel the cleats on the ground when waking on asphalt and cement, however walking around my home with hardwood floors was fine. Cleat installation was SUPER easy. I keep seeing people say they took them to a bike shop to do it but honestly it's just a matter of screwing them into the shoe.Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase, I'll cover the cost of shoe rental in about two months, so they are well worth it, especially given the increased comfort, not having to change shoes at the studio, and that they are just cute.
These are the best spinning shoes I have ever owned. They are easy to put on and extremely comfortable. I am very pleased with this purchase.
I have hesitated to invest in these but did finally cave - no regrets. Like others I sized down - I would normally be a 6.5-7 US Women and I bought a 6 which is perfect. The shoes are well constructed. Just wish more colors were available via Amazon AND I could get them on the AU site :/
