Fit and Comfort: The primary highlight of the Scott COMP Boa shoes is undoubtedly their fit. The innovative BOA L6 system allows you to dial in the perfect tension, making it easy to achieve a snug yet comfortable experience. Riders have noted that the shoes accommodate varied foot shapes well, though those with broader feet might find them slightly restrictive.
Performance: With a stiffness index rating of 6, these shoes deliver commendable energy transfer to the pedals, which is crucial for competitive cycling. Whether ascending steep inclines or navigating technical trails, you’ll appreciate how responsive these shoes feel.
Traction: The combination of an injection composite sole and Sticki race rubber provides reliable grip on all surfaces. Many users report feeling confident during tricky descents, as the shoes offer solid footing on uneven ground. However, consider wearing them only in dry conditions, as they do not perform well in wet environments.
Durability: Made from quality materials, the Scott COMP Boa shoes hold up well against the rigors of mountain biking. Regular maintenance, such as machine washing the outer polyester material, further extends their lifespan, making them a worthwhile investment.

Comfortable
Hubby loved. Good fit and comfy
I like these shoes for the most part. I’ve warn them on about a dozen rides so far(approx. 3-6miles each). The BOA lacing system is convenient but I have trouble getting them tight enough around my foot to prevent minor Foot slip when pedaling which results in friction hot spots on the bottoms of my feet around the cleat location. I added a additional gel shoe liner between the shoe and the stock liner to snug up the shoe but the result was the same. And for the record I always where quality wool riding socks. They seem to be of decent quality. Perhaps my pair ran a bit large (I did order my actual shoe size). Anyways a decent shoe for the money hopefully I can figure out the hotspot issue.
