Great quality! Fit true to size. Perfect wet weather shoe! Feet are dry from wet riding conditions in fall, winter and spring. Low top non gore tex for the summer season.
Wow these shoes are sweet! These are flat peddle shoes that literally stick you to the peddles... The grip is amazing!
Perfect fit, and keep my feet warm and dry. Toe box is narrow, but I have narrow feet.
Due to a 2020 L4/5 issue my left ankle rolls outward with a weakened neural connection. The muscles are fine but signals from the brain and back don't seem to transmit well, so I thought no more long walks or hiking for me. I've probably spent $600 on various boots and running shoes, but they all are over designed for arch support, which pushes my ankle outwards. It typically felt like I could trip over a pine cone. This summer while mountain biking I noticed how my flat carbon lined (Scott AR) shoes didn't seem to cause me as much problem, and under this idea I purchased the Five Tens. These flat shoes have been a Godsend! I'm walking almost normally at this point and the ankle wrap around helps as well. I've ordered a second pair, and will try to see what they are like on the trail. I feel 100% more secure and without a fear of falling now. We'll see how they do as the weather gets cold and wet.
Does what they’re intended to do. Perfect for my winter riding in the PNW
Runs extra in length but narrow.I had to return
I just got these for mountain biking and it’s awesome. Fits as expected (size 7) and really warm. The goretex lining makes a huge difference. Paired with wool socks I think I can definitely go a couple hours when it’s especially cold. Rode in 45 degree weather and it was warm so I can’t wait for it to get colder. It’s goretex so it’s also waterproof. If you’re on the fence and can get this shoe for less than $150 it’s a good buy.
These work as advertised. I rode with them in 20-30 degree weather for around 90 minutes and my feet stayed warm and dry.
