Sizing seem so variable with many mail order shoes, I wear a 9.5 running shoe but an 8.5 dress shoe. I ordered these in an 8.5 and they are perfect. Nice solid sole, better power transfer to my platform peddles with no slipping around. I first put them on, laced them up and in less than 30 min of inside living inside my house they felt perfect. So perfect that when I sit down I can’t tell they are on my feet, plus they seem well ventilated, keeping my feet very nice and dry feeling.Nice bike and walking shoes!
I bought these shoes specifically for my electric mountain bike which I will ride anywhere from 15-30 miles at a clip. These shoes were perfectly comfortable right out of the box. After going on several longer rides I had no blisters or painful areas at all. The grips are concave, allowing the peddle tread to really get a good grip. My feet have yet to slip whatsoever, but my rides have mainly been on roads and well groomed trails…nothing too crazy. However, all thumbs up from me so far!
Grandson loved them. Nice grip on soles to use while biking. Nicely made.
These shoes offer great support and are a huge step up in terms of stability and power if you’re moving up from running/training shoes like me. They are however pretty insulated, can get uncomfortable on hot days. Also 0 water resistance, so mind those puddles because these things take forever to dry
I bought these shoes for an extended trip and they were a great buy! I have click-in shoes for my road bike, but wanted a pair that would work on platform pedals for an e-bike and these do the job. The soles have a soft rubber with an aggressive grip that stay on the pedals without slipping. The fit is good and the suede leather should last. A very comfortable shoe for me. The price on Amazon was much better than an outdoor store where I usually shop.
I am a roofing salesman and like shoes that look good that also stick to a roof well for my inspection. These shoes do both. Also they look amazing. I love how I have literally never seen anyone else wearing these. 🙃 The white on them gets dirty sorta fast, but the Magic Eraser cleans them up just like new!
I don't ride clipless because I found that clipless leads to overuse injuries, ie your foot is fixed to one position only and will not naturally move to the most orthopedically neutral position. Footwear in brick and mortar retail goes in and out of a fashion and right now, sturdy soled, low cut hiking style shoes which would be good for cycling are out and and ultra thin, flexible soled running type shoes which would be excruciating for cycling are in. So hence my need for a "street shoe" that is also good for cycling. I will terrible hot spots on the bottom my feet if soles of the shoes are too flexible. The soles of these are pretty close to a pair of work or hiking boots in flexibility. Not as stiff as a set of clipless bike shoes, so definitely walkable.Fit wise they are a slight bit narrower than most size 12 shoes. The shoe laces are pretty short, but I think it is deliberate to keep them out of the chainring. Pricewise these shoes are an excellent value as they are the same price as an ordinary pair of sneakers and not priced like a specialty shoe.
I wear a size 12.5 in most shoes,13 Nike and 14 work boots and I was happy to see half sizes and they are true to size,12.5 fits great but they are so narrow and the toe box is even worse. My foot feels like it’s in a viseThey are made extremely well and look awesome but unfortunately it’s no way I can wear them.
