When it comes to mountain biking, having the right footwear can significantly affect your performance and comfort. The Five Ten Freerider Pro is tailored for women who demand both functionality and style. With an emphasis on flat pedal control, these shoes allow you to tackle various terrains with confidence.
The Stealth S1 rubber used in the outsole showcases an exceptional grip that helps you navigate steep climbs and challenging descents without fear of slipping. Whether you're riding through muddy trails or rocky paths, the Dotty tread pattern gives you the traction you need.
Impact protection is another highlight of the Freerider Pro. The urethane reinforced toe box absorbs shocks effectively, making them suitable for aggressive riding styles. You can ride hard without worrying about stubbing your toes or damaging your shoes.
From a comfort standpoint, the quick-drying upper ensures that even if you encounter wet conditions, your feet remain dry and comfortable. This feature is particularly beneficial for long rides where moisture can be a major inconvenience. Moreover, the eco-friendly initiative behind using recycled materials reflects a growing commitment to sustainability without compromising quality.
However, potential buyers should note that these shoes may require a bit of a break-in period. While some may find this acceptable, it's important to consider if you prefer an out-of-the-box comfort.

Both the women's 7.5 my actual size.
They are comfy and firm! They also are styling
Based on the reviews I ordered 1/2 size down. These fit too tight in the heel so I am reordering in my normal size 7.5.Other than that these are nice mountain biking shoes
Also comfortable to push up in.
Got them for my girlfriend, also have a pair myself. We got them for mountain biking. Very grippy on the peddles. Highly recommend by a lot of people including myself
I am an intermediate cyclist which means I'm not "hard-core" enough for clip-ons since cycling isn't my first and foremost hobby yet. So, I wanted something that helped keep my feet from hurting after 15-30 mile bike-rides on country roads and bike paths. These are a very comfy shoe for the ride. I have a narrow fit and they are probably technically a hair wide, but once I tightened the shoe-laces and got on the bike, I really didn't notice any functionality issues! (So maybe they are the right size). They definitely appear to be high quality and will last the next 5 years if not more! My boyfriend has the men's version of these and is extremely happy with them, how they perform and how they fit.
I'm a size 7 in sneakers but really wish I had purchased a 6 1/2. These were a 1/2 size too big for me. I love the protection and great grip the sneaker offers. They are stiff to walk with but I don't know if it's because they are new.
These felt a bit clunky until I got used to them. I had been riding with running shoes (don't laugh). I do not do the clip-in thing. Once I got used to them they were great. They are well built and should last a very long time.
