Great pair of shoes. They’re true to size. It’s very firm, and it might throw you off at first. But this results in giving you a great platform.Make sure you have grippy pedals. I used these with the stock pedals (plastic with reflectors) the bike came with, and those just don’t take advantage of the grip these shoes provide, ad my foot slid off the pedals.
Just arrived after a long shipping wait. However the shoe was perfect and looks wonderful. Can’t think of a better platform pedal shoe to wear cycling. Thanks adidas!
Meets all expectations for MTB shoe. Fyi - sticky sole mates very nicely with Raceface Chester pedals.
I bought my son a pair of these biking shoes to replace his clipless biking shoes. His one ankle bothered him each time he twisted his foot to get his shoe off the clipless pedal. He has used these new shoes several times now while mountain biking. According to him, they stick to the pedals just fine; no more painful ankle. The size he asked me to order fit him perfectly.
Riding out in the country, just came up a big climb and a group of dogs come out of a yard, and into the road before I had a chance to get by them.. immediately one latches onto my foot and is trying to rag doll it! Another one chomps down onto my front wheel .. fortunately I had dog spray which got them off of me long enough for the owner to come out and call them off. The bite on the foot hurt but no injury.. just bruised the next day. These shoes are tough! They don’t even have a mark on them. I love them for riding.. I use flat pedals with little spikes and these shoes work great with them. Be careful out there and carry dog spray!
Had to return and order a half size bigger than normal. MTB trails are closed, can’t wait to try them out.
Bought these on sale and I’m very happy with them. Stick nicely to my flat peddles and good foot protection. Would recommend this shoe to mob riders. Took one star away for late delivery.
