This is not a great walking around shoe, but that’s not why I purchased! I wear them on my mountain bike. Great grip to the pedals. Bottom of shoe is completely flat and perfect for riding. The extra stiffness has really helped the arch pain I was have when I rode in standard shoes. These were cheaper than platform pedals and i’m happy with the choice. True to Adidas sizing, which is another reason I went with this pair. Also love the weird color scheme.
Bought because I had earlier biking shoes from this vendor before they got bought out. I can attest quality is still there. I originally bought to use to ride on my stationary bike but found them comfortable for walking as well. Love the style and the solid footbed, very stable.
I've done some long distance and trail rides on my XC mtb build, and have ZERO complaints...my old shoes would often slip off on bad shifts, THESE shoes have amazing grips that feel glued to pedals (without cleats or any hardware on basic plastic pedals).The only con's I could think of would be the shoes feel very stiff, and may need some "breaking in".I would highly recommend these shoes for bike rides of all kinds, maybe not the most comfortable for just walking around, but still fashionable enough.
