When you slip on the Fi'zi:k Vento Infinito Carbon 2 Cycling Shoe, you immediately notice the quality craftsmanship that sets it apart from other cycling shoes. The upper material, crafted from Microtex, offers a snug yet comfortable fit that adapts to your foot shape, making long rides more enjoyable. The use of knitted construction not only improves ventilation but also adds a touch of modern aesthetics to the shoe.
The closure system utilizes two BOA Li2 dials, allowing you to easily adjust the tightness for a personalized fit. This feature is particularly beneficial during those intense ride sessions when every second counts. The dials ensure that you can make quick adjustments without having to stop or fumble with laces.
Underneath, the carbon fiber sole plays a crucial role in overall performance. It provides excellent stiffness, translating your pedal strokes directly into speed, and the rubber sole offers added durability and traction when you're off the bike. Weighing in at a claimed weight of just 8 ounces per shoe, these are among the lightest options available, contributing to a nearly effortless riding experience.
That said, while the Vento Infinito is an impressive piece of engineering, it's essential to note that they come at a premium price point, which might deter some casual cyclists. Furthermore, depending on the shape of your feet, you may need to allow for some breaking-in time to achieve maximum comfort.

I have put about 2,500 miles on these shoes and I am very happy. Very comfortable, sleek and good looking. I have a narrow foot and they fit me well. For some reason the boa dials on my right shoe are harder to pull the cables loose when loosening the shoe.
Tongue overlap, (3), need to get right or creates a hot spot.
I've got many different shoes and I was hopeful that these would be more comfortable like my Fizik Uomo shoes. They're not. No arch support, getting them cinched up on foot is troublesome, and generally doesn't work. I've ordered Specialized footbeds to see if it changes them but I wouldn't buy them.
Long time cyclist I tried a few brands before so far this is the best cycling shoe
Love the color & the adjustable tightness for the shoes! It makes it very comfortable.
