The Etnies Men's Culvert Low Top Michelin Rubber Mountain Bike Shoe excels in multiple aspects, primarily due to its Michelin rubber sole that offers unparalleled grip. This feature is crucial when navigating challenging terrains on your mountain bike, allowing you to focus on your ride without worrying about slipping off your pedals.
In terms of durability, the reinforced upper crafted with Force Shield technology makes it a formidable contender in rugged environments. The hot-melted toe and heel caps add another layer of defense, ensuring the shoes can withstand the wear and tear typical of mountain biking.
The Repel treated upper is a noteworthy feature, as it prevents moisture from seeping in during sudden rain showers or muddy paths. Coupled with the 3M Thinsulate lining, these shoes keep your feet warm, adding comfort during colder rides.
However, it’s important to note that while the shoes provide excellent grip and some level of water resistance, they are not entirely waterproof. Users should be mindful of their intended riding conditions to avoid discomfort.
Overall, the Etnies Men's Culvert brings together style, comfort, and functionality, making them a great investment for avid mountain bikers seeking performance-driven footwear.

These butterscotch orange Etnies were purchased through Outland's Amazon Store. They look and feel great and were delivered a few days ahead of their already reasonable estimated schedule, so that was appreciated! The shoes fit my needs perfectly, mainly local hilly street and gravel/path terrain where I want and need a stable platform that doesn't slip off whether wet or dry pedals. Probably over time the shoe's sole area will soften up a bit and will/could make a decent durable street shoe though for now these were purchased for riding only and the occasional walking around wherever we might be riding.
The outer layer seems to peel easy, but my feet have yet to get wet. Solid build quality for the most part.
The shoe is perfect I love it just I got a size 8 and it fitted me like if It was size 7 1/2 but I love shoe. Just too small
Good quality but for was too narrow. Usually a 10.5 in shoes, 11 was good length, but just too narrow. Returned for some 5-10s that have a wider toe box.
Description says these are Extra Wide shoes. I have a pair of Under Armor shoes are are wide (not extra wide) and fit great. These Enties Extra Wide Shoes are so tight I don't know if I can wear them more than a few minutes and hoping they will stretch out some so they are wearable.. Otherwise they are junk and will try to return. Very deceptive! I'm extremely unhappy with these shoes because there's no way these are extra wide shoes.
