I bought this tan colored size 8 pair of Foamies Gowalk Mystified shoes to replace a pair of worn size 8 Skechers H2GO foam shoes, that I've had for 8 years and loved because they were so comfortable. They are a different color than my H2GOs, but look very similar. The price for the Gowalk shoes was comparable to what I paid 8 years ago, which is surprising. The box says that these shoes can be machine washed, though I haven't done so yet. They do have good cushioning, look nice, and feel good when standing still. However, I'm really disappointed in the size because they run big. I've purchased hiking shoes and boots (different brands) online and never had a problem with them being too big for my feet. I also have other Skechers shoes that are size 8 and they fit fine, so I can only assume that the problem is with these shoes. The reason I purchased these it because I live in the southeast and a chance for afternoon rain showers is pretty much the norm, during the summer. With my old H2GO shoes I didn't need to wear socks and if I got caught in the rain, they drained and dried out just fine. With these, the only way I can keep them on my feet, when I walk, is to wear socks and and jam cotton in the toes. If I don't do that, the back of my feet pop out of the shoes with each step. I really don't like returning stuff and I didn't see any 1/2 sizes available when I purchased these, so I'll keep them and try to find a more permanent solution than socks and cotton. I don't think I'm going to be buying anymore Skechers online anytime soon.
Does not mention anywhere what are they made of. When I received them I noticed that they are rubber allover.
