This boots are very comfortable and are waterproof as advertised. I have only had them for a couple of days and they great for the farm.
These are nice and look good, I think they are a bit snug but they will break in I assume. I wore them a few times and no blisters. I think they are a little stiff. I worried about size, I wear an 8.5 and got an 8.5 and they fit fine.
Loved these shoes! Did great in rainy, muddy conditions on the Appalachian trail for a weekend backpacking trip. No slips, no blisters. I got my regular size and it fit. They are a little roomy for thick socks, but I have fairly narrow feet and had no issues. I liked that I had room to wiggle my toes a bit. Very sturdy and waterproof. Socks never got wet even walking thru a low creek.
I had tried this shoe on locally in a store but they did not have a size 7, only 7.5. So I had an idea of the fit but needed a smaller size. So I ordered a size 7 online. My package arrived faster than I expected. The fit was slightly tight in the width and top of foot, but I was able to remedy this by removing the provided insoles and inserting custom orthotic insoles that i wear with other shoes as well. Now they fit much better. I had a previous pair of Keens hiking boots that lasted me about three years before the soles came apart. I loved the width of those and the comfort. These are very similar but the top comes up higher and fit more snug to my ankle/lower leg which I love. This shoe hugs my mid foot more which I also like, and doesn't look like a boat on my foot. I have wide metatarsals that taper to a narrow heel, and very high arches, so it is hard for me to find a good fit. This is as close as I can get after trying on no less than seven different hiking boots recently. I will warn there is not a lot of air in these. This isn't a bad thing most of the year in NE Minnesota but I can see my feet getting hot in the dead of summer hiking. I LOVE the traction on these. They are very comfortable and nice looking. Would purchase again. I love that Keen's cater to wider feet.
These boots feel so secure on. I was a little apprehensive to try them because I have tailors bunions on both of my feet from wearing shoes that were too tight around the toes. That is not the case at all with these!! I have found these to be some of the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever tried - and being an avid hiker, I have tried MANY.I got my usual size 9, and with some nice wool socks, was immediately outside taking on the snowy mountains of Utah. They are so perfectly grippy and have a wonderful, secure weight to them. My new favorite winter hikers!! 🥾❄️
I have had these boots for a couple weeks now. I hate when your a asked to review something you just got. So I waited a while before writing a review. The boots fit as expected. There is plenty of room in the toe area. Took a few days of wearing before they were really comfortable. Replaced the insoles with ones I got from the foot Dr. Waterproof, not really. First 2 times wearing on rainy weather was great, now after extended rain and walking out in the wet grass my feet do get a little damp. So if you need to be completely water resistant, maybe apply a waterproofing product. Overall nice boots, not a horrible price.
I'm a Keen fan. My Keen trail shoes are very comfortable and I've had years of use from them. These Steens are sturdy and well made, the low profile ankle is good for those of us who are short and can't use the higher profile. They may be great for people with very narrow feet.I have narrow feet and need a wide toebox. I ordered a 1/2 size up to give more room for medium weight merino socks. Even with the extra 1/2 size, the both the shoe and toe box are much too tight and don't work for me.
I have large feet, but a good track record with Keen. They are one of the few brands that carry women’s 11 and 12. I’ve used women’s 11 in the past at work for steel toed boots. While comfortable, my toes touch the end. I took a gamble and ordered size 12 since there are no 11.5. Shoes required no break in period, although I was working on getting my miles up. Having just returned from doing over 50 miles on vacation, including the Inca Trail, Amazon, and Rainbow Mountain in Peru, I can say that these Keens were a life saver and that my feet were in great shape and blister free!
