Product | Feature Highlights | Pros | Cons |
---|---|---|---|
Dansko Women's Professional Petrol Clog | Leather upper, padded collar, roomy toe box | Comfortable, durable, stylish | Break-in period needed |
Clarks Women's Clogs | Soft leather, cushioned footbed | Great arch support, versatile | Less wiggle room |
Skechers Women's Clogs | Memory foam insole, lightweight | Affordable, easy to clean | Less supportive than Dansko |
The Dansko Women's Professional Petrol Clog excels in comfort, making it an ideal choice for healthcare professionals, hospitality workers, and anyone who frequently stands or walks. The padded instep collar feels soft against the skin, reducing friction and enhancing overall comfort.
One of the standout features is the roomy reinforced toe box, which ensures your toes have enough space to move freely without feeling cramped. This aspect is particularly beneficial for those who suffer from foot conditions like bunions or hammertoes.
From a functional perspective, the PU outsole with a rocker bottom propels your foot forward with each step, while also providing excellent shock absorption. This translates to less fatigue after a long day, allowing you to remain active for longer periods. The wide heel strike further increases stability, making these clogs a safe choice for slippery environments.
However, keep in mind that some users report needing a break-in period before experiencing optimal comfort. Additionally, if you have especially narrow feet, you may find the fit a bit generous. Overall, the Dansko Women's Professional Petrol Clog combines style and superior comfort in a way that few other options do, making them worth considering for your footwear collection.

I rarely buy shoes online unless they are a brand and style I’m familiar with, or if I know I can return them to a brick and mortar store because shipping can be a major hassle. I ordered these because I had wanted them for a while but no retailers within a 30 minute drive of me carried them. I am so pleased!! I wear a solid US 8 in 98% of shoes with scant variation, although my Birkenstock’s are a 38 EU, but the 39 in these fits like a freakin dream!!! They are ever so slightly looser on my left foot because my right foot is my dominant side and where I tend to lean, but it’s not noticeable enough for me to be bothered by it. The color is adorable and beautiful while still being just fun and funky enough and will look great with both jeans and my dress pants for work! You cannot go wrong with the amount of support these provide! Yes, they are firm, but as an avid wearer of orthotic shoes (weird for a 28 year old woman to say, but you only get one body!), they are an absolute dream to wear.
comfortable
Lots of compliments love the color and the price.
They were more beat up looking than the shoes that I was still wearing to work when I was receiving them under the impression they would be brand new not to mention that they didn't even look like they were genuine leather or feel like it and seemed like they should have cost maybe 20 or $30 not $120 or 30
I have been wearing dansko’s for almost 10 years now. Love that there are so many pattern/color choices for a shoe that is not really considered “stylish”. These are the only shoes I will wear to work, they are a bit snug at first but will stretch a bit with wear. I have pairs that I’ve had for 5 years and still wear. At the end of a long day with patients my feet don’t hurt at all, not like they would when I would wear tennis shoes that were just as expensive. I usually wear an 8.5 and wear a 39. Keep in mind that your heel should slide up and down slightly when you walk for a correct fit.
The shoes are comfortable, they just don’t come in whole sizes so they did not fit. A 8.5-9 and a 9.5-10 didn’t fit me, I probably wear exactly a 9.
I thought I bought the wrong size and I was dreading it but I wore them a few times now and they are getting much better. Break them in it’s worth it.
I’m a nurse at the hospital. I won’t use anything but dansko when I’m working a 12 hour shift. These are very cute. They look like oil or a sort of iridescent insect type of look. They match everything. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. You want them to run big enough that you can fit a finger behind your heel. I wear an 8 1/2 in shoes and in Dansko i wear a 39. They have amazing arch support which matters so much more than padding. My feet never get tired. You do need to break them in at first. They may hurt for a week or 2 but then you’ll be hooked.
