Love Clarks shoes! Great fit, comfortable and perfect for work!!!
I ordered this shoe in my regular size 8 medium, and tried them on with medium width socks. The length was perfect but they were very snug across the top of my foot. I decided to give the 8 wide a try, but they were way too wide for me all over. I tried the medium on again and decided to keep them as I am sure they will stretch a little bit. The leather is soft yet looks durable. I like the look of these shoes for dress slacks for work. They are comfortable as one would expect from Clark's. Amazon's price cannot be beat either!
I have been wearing the shoes for a couple of weeks every day and shoes have held up well. I didn’t have to break them in. They have been comfortable from day 1 and look professional.
These loafers are of good quality and are like walking on a cushion. I love the style and look. I usually wear a size 7, but I went up a half size to a 7 1/2. They are a little tight around the top, but I think in time, these shoes will stretch. This is the only reason I am giving four stars. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.
I have been starting to suffer from Hammer Toes. Podiatrist said all heels or tight toe box shoes must go or the condition will get worse fast. 31 pairs of shoes (some were new) were all donated to charity. I ordered these and while I can not yet find anything to wear with a dress these have grown on me. I am very much loving wearing them. They finally have enough room in the toe box in width and height. They have enough arch support although I have a very high arch and would prefer a bit more. I have worn these from morning to late into the night and again the next day. My feet don't hurt at all. My arches are not tired and achy either. So I am ordering another pair as a replacement because I know that someday I will wear these out, and since I wear a size 11 I often am not able to find anything especially when I'm desperate. They are wearing quite nicely though and I clean and polish them to take care of them.
I found this shoe, 10W, to fit great especially with heavier socks for the winter. My office has a cool floor so I do need wool socks at work and I do not usually wear wide but like the extra room anyhow. The Cheyn shoe (I have two pairs) has the Clark's brand quality at an affordable price point. They go well with pants and cover enough of my foot to be in between a shoe and a short boot. Perhaps one could say they are somewhat stylish in a utilitarian way without being trendy (like me, haha). It would be nice if they were available in a dark red.
This is an attractive shoe and fits true to size based on my other Clarks purchases. These shoes felt great right out of the box BUT after walking around the house in them for a bit the right shoe began to hurt the sole of my foot - almost like there was a stone in the shoe (there was not). I am quite disappointed. I have a pair of Clarks Sillian Paz that are the most comfortable shoe I own - I wore them all over Ireland in January 2020 in Storm Brendan and they kept my feet warm and dry. Sadly, the Cheyn Loafer is not even close in comparison.
I bought these shoes for work, I work on a train they were perfect from the moment I got them. I had read a lot of reviews and there were different aspects. Everybody has different feet so for me my feet do not hurt at the end of the day they're very comfortable,I just love them. I ended up buying another pair of Clarks with a heel and they are amazing as well. I will definitely buy again.
