The quick Velcro closure system allows you to put on and take off the shoes in a matter of seconds, which can be particularly beneficial when you’re transitioning between routes. When it comes to selecting your climbing footwear, the Ocun Striker QC stands out for several reasons. The shoe's design is tailored for comfort without sacrificing performance, making it an ideal choice for climbers who are just starting their journey or those who engage in occasional climbing.
The slightly asymmetrical shape encourages a natural foot position while still providing targeted precision, especially with foot placements on small holds. The looseness of the heel enhances comfort, allowing the foot to rest flat, which reduces fatigue over longer climbs.
In terms of functionality, the dual Velcro straps allow for quick adjustments, accommodating different foot shapes and volumes. Furthermore, the use of Cat Rubber ensures that the shoe maintains a good grip on various surfaces, whether indoors at a climbing gym or outdoors on rocky terrain.
The material choices contribute positively to the overall feel of the shoe. Made from vegan synthetic leather, the Ocun Striker QC aligns with eco-friendly values, which is becoming increasingly important to many outdoor enthusiasts.
Overall, the Ocun Striker QC is a solid investment for anyone looking to explore climbing, offering the right balance of comfort and performance to help you get started on your adventures.

I bought these to primarily replace some well-worn gym shoes. I've been climbing for about 7 years now, a mix of both bouldering and sport, indoors & outdoors, and these are definitely the most comfortable climbing shoes I've worn! They are not aggressively designed and are great for taking a beating at the gym. The rubber has been just fine, grippy and not too stiff for a moderate shoe, and good durability in the 3 months I've had them so far. And I really love the color as well. I did not experience any color bleeding that others have mentioned.I have typically worn size 44.5 in other brands like FiveTen, so I tried both the 10.5 and 11 in these. The 11 were too roomy, but the 10.5 fit perfectly.
