The EVOLV Geshido Lace Climbing Shoes in Black/Teal/White are engineered for climbers who demand versatility across various terrain types. Whether you are tackling moderately overhanging routes, vertical faces, or even challenging multi-pitch climbs, these shoes have been designed to support your every move.
Constructed with a single-layer leather upper, the Geshido offers exceptional fit as it molds to the shape of your foot over time. The innovative 3/4 length lace closure system allows for an adjustable fit that can be tightened for added power during critical moments or relaxed for comfort on longer ascents.
The shoe features a thinner heel rand to provide flexibility when ascending past vertical sections while still maintaining enough rigidity thanks to the dark spine heel midsole. This duality ensures that the shoe drives your toes effectively into footholds during technical sequences.

Like another reviewer, said the tongue is literally not attached to the rest of the shoe upon arrival
Since fit matters most, I'll start with that: these things are a perfect fit for my wide forefoot / narrow heel feet (with bunions to make it more interesting). In my street shoe size the Evolv Oracle has my toes curled down a bit, but the same size here has them mostly flat (as you'd expect in an all-rounder).Sized thus, these things are SUPER comfortable for long techy pitches on small edges and pockets. The tippy tip of the toes are very stiff and offer tons of support. There's enough downturn and pointiness to make them feel very precise. The rubber works well enough. The lacing system is fantastic.Think of them as a La Sportiva Katana or Miura Lace for people with wider feet. I'd wear something else if I knew I was going to be doing a lot any one thing (steep bouldering with lots of toe hooks, thin or wide cracks, friction slabs) but they still get the job done there. All that said, the tongue of these things is weakly attached. Don't pull on it hard or you risk ripping it off.
Nice shoe, BUT, the tongue came right off after a few uses. :-(I have to position the detached tongue under the laces now before tightening up.Replace? Outside the replacement window now....
