The Wolverine Men's I-90 Waterproof Composite-Toe Romeo Slip-on Construction Boot stands out in terms of comfort, especially with its EPX technology. This feature greatly enhances energy return, helping you stay energetic throughout your workday. The honeycomb heel design works together with the cushioned midsole to absorb impacts, making it particularly beneficial for individuals who are frequently on hard surfaces.
Durability is another key aspect of this boot. The high-abrasion TPU SR lug outsole contributes significantly to its robustness, ensuring that the shoes can withstand industrial environments without showing signs of wear too quickly. Furthermore, the composite toe adds an extra layer of security, meeting ASTM standards which is essential for many job sites.
Moreover, the waterproof capabilities are commendable. The combination of full-grain leather and a waterproof breathable membrane means that whether you're caught in rain or working around puddles, your feet will remain dry and comfortable. This feature is particularly advantageous for outdoor jobs where weather can be unpredictable.
On the downside, like many high-quality boots, they may require a break-in period. Some users report initial discomfort which typically resolves after consistent wear. Additionally, while the style is versatile, options are somewhat limited, which might not cater to everyone's aesthetic preferences.

I have a ridiculously wide size 13 foot with a very high instep. The boots came a little tight for me in the instep, but I like them so much that I decided to try to break them in and stretch them out. They are very sturdy and the footbed is exceptionally comfortable. They get better each time that I wear them.
They’re comfortable, I enjoy wearing them around the warehouse and even out around town. I work in the office so I’m only putting about 9,000-12,000 steps a day but they do the job and look nice.
I like these boots, they fit as the size says, they are comfortable and easy on and easy off. The price is right and the boots are nice.
These boots run small. I bought a size 8 which is my norm. They were way too tight. Instead of going a 1/2 size bigger, I went with the 8 X-wide. PERFECT fit! Good quality work boots. Recommend
Love the comfort, doesnt look like it but it stay snug to your feet. My favorite boots so far.
I got the ones with the steel toe. Beware that there is another version without the steel toe. It’s been two months since I wear them, no break-in period needed, no blisters either. My feet stay dry in the rain and snow, and easy to slip on and off. I was able to wear a fit-cut jeans over the boots with no issues, and still looks great. The size is a true-to-size to me, I’m wearing 9.5. They have exceeded my expectations. I’m very happy with these boots!
This boot is sold in two styles that suggest its just color - brown and sudan brown - when you select either color the image does not change. However what does change is soft toe vs composite toe. IF YOU NEED COMPOSITE TOE MAKE SURE YOU GET BROWN. DO NOT GET SUDAN BROWN LIKE ME AND WONDER WTF. All things considered these soft toe boots seem okay but its incredibly annoying that isn't more clear which version of the boot you are getting and it seems like a useless color selector. The variation should not be color but instead you should select Composite or Soft.
I have very wide flat feet. It’s very hard to find shoes but these fit without much of a breaking in. It sometimes feels little tight around my foot. But I assume it just needs to get broken in.
