The Western Chief Kids Waterproof Rubber Classic Rain Boot is designed not only to keep your little ones' feet dry but also to enhance a variety of outfits with its sleek black finish. These boots are a testament to the brand's rich heritage, having been founded in Seattle back in 1891, originally catering to the harsh conditions faced during the Alaska Gold Rush.

When it comes to choosing the right rain boots for your child, Western Chief Kids Waterproof Rubber Classic Rain Boot stands out for several reasons. The first is its commitment to quality; the use of natural rubber means these boots will last longer than many synthetic alternatives while providing excellent waterproof protection.
One of the best features lies in its user-friendly design. With two sturdy pull handles, children can easily slip these boots on and off without assistance, fostering independence and making dressing for wet weather a breeze.
In terms of comfort, the moisture-absorbing cotton linings work well to keep feet dry even if some water manages to sneak inside. This thoughtful addition makes them not just functional but also enjoyable to wear.
However, it's worth noting that sizing may vary, and you may find that they run a tad larger than expected. It's advisable to try them on to ensure the perfect fit for your child. While they excel in rain, they might not be suitable for winter weather extremes.
Overall, the Western Chief Kids Waterproof Rubber Classic Rain Boot is an excellent investment for parents looking for stylish and practical footwear that can handle rainy days with ease.

I ordered the Western Chief Kids Waterproof Rubber Classic Rain Boot with Pull Handles for my child just in time for a bunch of rain that we've had and I'm so glad I did!First - these seem like very well constructed boots. They're a bit clunky, though my kid can walk in them (she clomped around a bit at first). My daughter wears orthotics and there was plenty of room in the foot of the boot for her orthotic + her foot: no squishing. This has made it possible for her to wear her boots to school on rainy days and come home still comfortable. Big win there.I feel like these are a great value at under twenty bucks, what I paid for them. Also, the red boot is pretty and also gender neutral so her little bro will be happily wearing these when she grows out of them. Win-win.
A perfect rain boot when out hiking in wet areas, working through weeds, or dancing through the puddles. Fantastic grip to prevent slips and easy to clean up.
Bought these boots for my 6 year old granddaughter. She loves the way the way they fit and look. Well made. Solid color looks great with all of her clothing and the shine makes her look dressed up even in her rain boots.
I usually wear size 5/5H in women's, and a size 4, sometimes 3, in kid's shoes depending on how the brands run. I ordered a size 4 for these rain boots, and they fit very comfortably! I was contemplating getting a size 3, but I opted for a 4—even though some reviews said that these run big—because I usually layer up my socks when the weather is rainy/wet. With thin socks, they have a tiny bit of room to spare but they fit perfect when I have a pair of thicker socks on. All in all, I would say these run true to size/a touch on the larger side. If I was purchasing this for a child, I would definitely get the size that the child normally wears; even though the shoe might be a touch big, they're eventually going to grow into it (just use a thicker pair of socks in the meantime)I haven't worn them out yet because it hasn't rained where I live, but just by wearing them around the house these boots feel very sturdy. The quality is better than I expected (I especially love that you can take out the sole, which is padded and comfortable for the feet). The circumference around the ankle is big enough so you can slip your foot easy; if you have trouble, there are two rubber straps at the top to help you pull the boot on. These straps feel secure, but I fear that using too much force will rip them out of the seams. I will not be relying on the straps as much as I thought I would, though that's not really an issue with me.
The boots arrived very quickly and were exactly as pictured - a nice deep red color with nice treads on the bottom and sturdy handles to help pull the boots on. They were a little roomy, but of course that is nearly the point of rain boots, isn't it? My son was very pleased that it matched quite well to the LL Bean rain jacket we ordered for him (these boots were quite a bit less expensive than any of the LL Bean ones (but I WOULD recommend Bean boots as you have a lifetime warrantee - ie. you could exchange them for brand new ones for FREE when yours rip and/or the child grows out of them, which is a huge plus about LL Bean merchandise), however Bean didn't have any boots in my son's size that matched the jackets in his size (color wise), not to mention the price was quite higher for the Bean boots (of course, as mentioned, you get what you pay for - LL Bean is the BEST by far for most of their merchandise and the warrantee makes the price so worth it).Anyway, long story short: these boots seem sturdy and kept my son's feet dry during yesterday's rain adventure outside. They seem substantial, easy to put on and remove, and the treads look like they'll definitely help keep my son from slipping in the mud/rain. Great value for the money.
Clean up easy, what’s not to love
I was so excited to order these little boys rainboots! They have not disappointed me! I actually ordered two sets of boots, one in blue, one in black, two different sizes. I got these for my grandsons for Christmas. They couldn’t wait to try them on! We live in Southern Louisiana & trust me when I say they get into some stuff! While they love going outside with MiMi, they couldn’t do so without some boots. I searched the internet for a couple of months looking for the perfect rain boot. I kept coming back to Western Chief. They look like they are durable & will hold up at least till the next growth spurt comes along! They are easy to hose off & they seem to be very durable. Once dried they return to their original color and shape. I can hardly wait till Spring gets here to see if they make it till the end of summer 2023. Then it will be time to reorder! I really love these little boots! I have to say these little boots were a hit with everyone they “ran” into. I recommend getting some knee hi socks to wear with the boots. That was my only regret. The boots started rubbing because I didn’t have the proper hosiery for them. Next day I ran to go get them some & wala that fixed that! Now we can’t get them to wear anything else! Including going to the pediatrician with them on! Lol! They definitely were a home run!
My son loves them perfect size and got them before the rain hits
