These boots boast a warm-lined interior that provides exceptional insulation, perfect for those chilly days when temperatures can drop as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Brand | Model | Waterproof | Insulation Type | Closure Type |

Northside | Brady | No | Insulated foam | Velcro |
When considering a boot for your toddler, the Tundra Unisex-Child Teddy-K stands out for several reasons. First and foremost, its warm lining makes it ideal for extremely cold conditions. The use of high-quality materials such as nylon for the shaft and a robust rubber toe shell contributes to its durability, ensuring they will last through multiple winters.
The hook-and-loop closure is a significant advantage, allowing parents to quickly secure the boots on squirming feet. The lugged traction outsole not only provides excellent grip but also supports confident movement over slippery or uneven terrains.
However, like all products, there are minor downsides. Some children may find the boots rigid initially, necessitating a short breaking-in period. Additionally, while the boots come in a stunning fuschia/pink combination that appeals to many kids, the range of colors may not be as extensive as competing brands.
Overall, the Tundra Teddy-K is an outstanding choice for parents seeking a combination of practicality and style for their toddlers this winter.

I started this winter with a pair of Target boots from the consignment shop, but the velcro on them was very weak and the footpad was missing in one of the boots, so I decided to get serious, quit messing around, and get some quality boots. I got a size 7 Tundra boot for my (bigger than average) 20 month-old son. They fit nicely, they keep his feet nice and warm, they are easy to get on and off, and he loves pointing out the various construction vehicles on them. He has worn them about 15 times now and I am extremely happy with these boots. You're always gambling a bit buying things sight unseen off the Internet, but this was one gamble that paid off. I will buy the next size up when he outgrows these. I also love that these boots are made in Canada, not China.
Totally cute and warm. Great for bad weather. We don't have snow yet but they seem to keep out the rain well. I like that the top opens up wide and then adjusts tightly around the ankle so they don't fall off. They have a lot of traction on the bottom and not good for the way toddlers run. My daughter just turned 2 and has tripped a few times as they are different to walk in than tennis shoes but overall i am happy. Her daycare goes outside rain or shine and these will keep her warm and dry all winter. Love that they came in size 5. Hard to find boots that come this small and are also warm and weather proof.
The first day we got them, he wore them (inside) all evening, and begged to wear them to bed because "his feet were so cozy", (we let him). However, he woke up a couple hours into his slumber complaining his feet were too hot- I took that as a good sign...They fit perfectly, he can still run and jump and play with ease. *I ordered a half size up- due to the reviews & the fact that I think that's sensible for snow boots. He can easily put them on himself, loves the pattern, and wants to wear them everyday. Usually, snow boots are cumbersome and difficult to get on, these are a comfortable, easy fit.I am very happy with this purchase. These boots are well made and reasonably priced.
Glad I listened to other posters - go a size up. My 16mo daughter is currently ~ size 4.5-5. I ordered a size 6. They fit great. They have a bit of extra room so they'll work for a few months (and fit thicker socks) but the size 6 still isn't so large that she is tripping. We have size 5/6 rain boots that are bigger.Quality is excellent. The sore is thick rubber with durable tread. The ankle/leg is water-resistant fabric (gortex-type feeling) on the ouside and soft fleece on the inside. The velcro is a good thick type & folds over easily to get snug on my 16mo old, but could accommodate a much larger/thicker leg.We haven't used them yet, but they definitely look like they'll be warm and durable. FYI tag says Made in Canada.
Bought these for snow play for both my 14 month old and 4 year old. Couple of points:1. These are heavier than they look. This wasnt a big deal to my older kid but the younger really had issues dragging the shoes along2. They are sorta hard to put on. Due to the long tube part, they can be tricky for young kids who don't know how to mold their feet to put on.However the true test was the fact that my older daughter played in snow for a good 3 hours which included laying down and making snow angels and yet when we took her boots off her feet were absolutely dry and a very toasty temperature. I later noticed that the shoe is rated for -32degree Celsius weather. No wonder since its made in Canada! She didnt slip and fall on the party icy snow. In my book, this is an excellent snow boot for kids
These are adorable (we got the construction truck print) and very practical. The Velcro closure and generous opening makes getting them on and off easy and quick. Although they are a little heavy, the tread is substantial making these the best toddler snowboot ever. The footbed is heavy duty waterproofed and fully lined for a cozy fit. The leg shaft is made out of soft water resistant material making it easy for my four year to walk, instead of shuffle, in them. I wish they had this style in adult sizes.
These boots are excellent. My daughter's feet are warm and dry. I know they are warm because she wore them around the house, and her feet heated up. My kids have been splashing in big puddles and while my son's boots (he has two different brands) are soaked from top to bottom, my daughter's Tundra boots are dry as can be - even though she was as active in the water as he was. On top of that, they are super cute, and easy to put on and take off. I will absolutely be buying these again.Update (one year later): I like these so much, after one season, that I am buying a second pair for my son.
First off, real Tundra boots are EXCELLENT! We sent our kids to an all outdoor (even in winter) school during COVID and these were the only boots that actually kept their feet happy all day no matter the weather. A fantastic product that we keep buying as our kids outgrow their last pair. However with our latest order we received clear knockoffs. It was immediately noticeable. The rubber of the soles was cheap hard rubber with no flex. Normally it’s very soft and supple. The label on the outside was also a different font/size but the clearest indicator was that the real boots are proudly badged as being made in Canada. These just say made in china. In my pictures the real boot is the one with hearts. And the fake one that I ordered from this page is the snowflakes.Am returning. Bummer.
