Timberland always makes a great quality shoe and the leice was reasonable
Fits perfectly and can withstand a lot of foot traffic. I work daily in a plant nursery and these are definitely water resistant. My feet stay dry all day after watering plants and through rainy days. They are comfortable and light enough to wear for 8 -10 hour days. Great shoe for the price!
I bought these for my 11-year-old to use on hikes. He does a lot of walking and hiking with boy scouts and these hold up really well. He finds them very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. They run true to size, and maybe a tad bigger, but not enough to move up even a half size. After a week-long camping trip with multiple 5-mile hikes, they still look great and have held up well. My son wants to wear them every day. Being a typical kid, he probably spent most of that week-long trip with his shoes untied, and you can tell. The ends of one of the laces are frayed and messed up on one of the shoes, but I do not hold the company at fault for this. It would happen for any shoe. I plan to keep buying these as he grows out of them.
When I opened the box I thought these boots would be too narrow but once I tried them on they are fine and seem to run true to size. I have only worn these a couple of times so I cannot tell you about their durability but they look like a quality boot. They are lightweight and have already stretched a little having just been worn twice and are even more comfortable now. Pretty good tread but I wish it was a little larger. Seem like a good value and would definitely recommend.

Where do I begin...these are amazing!! I’m a woman with feet small enough to fit kids shoes. I’m a 6.5 in women and a 5 in boys. So I ordered these to go on my very first hike and they did beyond amazingly. My feet and ankles were well supported and DRY. I stepped on slippery rocks near waterfalls and didn’t slip once. The grip on these is amazing. Also stepped on puddles about 2” deep and my feet stayed dry! Dipped my feet in mud and also dry! The problem came when I decided to get behind a waterfall...that was my fault...and the water got into the boots from the top effectively soaking them (I was wearing leggings). But apparently waterproofing works both ways and inside the boots it felt like I was stepping on puddles. The water stayed inside the boots till I removed the soles and set them in the sun to dry. When I took my boots off there was water pooled on the inside. If it wasn’t because I decided to get behind that waterfall I would have been 100% dry. So these boots are overall the best 10/10 would buy again. Comfy, grippy, dry. I liked them so much that after cleaning them off that mud I waxed them. So the picture attached is them cleaned and waxed. Can’t qait to go hiking again soon and wear these!
I just bought these boots for my 12 year old very active son this summer. He wore them for a week of resident boy scout camp and I mean used the heck out of them. He LOVES them! No blisters, rubbing, or anything uncomfortable right from the start. Even on rainy days. They are now his favorite shoes. He then attended a week of an adventure day camp and wore them every day. Still awesome. Right now he is at another resident camp and then Sunday goes to another boy scout resident camp. He has the boots and is happy about it. It's hard to buy him shoes these days because he's in the limbo between boy and man sizes. But these fit. We measured his foot and ordered a 7 kid size. They fit perfect. He got a pair of Nike tennis shoes after these boots and they are a 7.5 men's. So measure the feet. I think we will be ordering these again when his feet grow. He's very active outside and these are serving him well.
They are a gift. They are really nice, not anticipating any issue.
