Look good and feel good
I have been purchasing another quality brand for several years. This time around, I decided to try Teva's hiking boot. I couldn't be more pleased. I've worn them a few times now, in spite of only having them a short time, and they live up to (exceed? - we'll see) the quality and comfort of my usual brand. In fact, the comfort is superior, absolutely no break-in required, and they're lighter, as well. I can't wait until the rainy season starts here and I can really test these out.
This boot fit perfectly, was comfortable out the gate, and never rubbed my boney feet any hot spots. I was so pleased, because 9 out of 10 times shoes I buy online have to be sent back - these delivered all that I needed, and I wore them for 2 weeks straight - right out of the box. Well made, look good too! Would buy them again in a heartbeat.
One of the best waterproof boots out there. Recommended!
This is probably my 8th pair of Tevas. All of the prior ones were absolutely wonderful and immediately became my favorite boot/shoe. I will never love these, however.I've always worn size 8 in Tevas, but these fit at least a half to a full-size size larger on me. I thought adding an insert and wearing thick socks would remedy the issue, but it hasn't. And once they were broken in, the fit is even worse. They are too big in both length and width, to the point that I feel clumsy in them, like I'm wearing "clown shoes." They also feel hard and flat, like there's no cushioning. Again, I thought an insert and thick socks would help, but no. As a result, I find myself reaching for my old Tevas that the Grandview was bought to replace. I've read so many positive reviews of this shoe that I have to wonder if I got a defective and mis-sized pair. The one positive thing about them is the rugged sole, which works well to keep me from slipping on loose rocks and gravel. I won't give up yet on Tevas in the future, but I would definitely not purchase the Grandview style again.
These boots were so comfortable right out of the box. Used them to walk the beach in Oregon and was able to walk through water and come out with dry feet. Great boot!
I was looking for a replacement pair of Ahnu Hiking Boots which I have been super happy with since 2018. I guess they are no longer made...or have been bought out by Teva? That said, I have always been a Teva Mush fan. Multiple pairs through the years so I went ahead and ordered these. They are finely made. I like the colors. The toe box is wide which I prefer. They may run just a tiny bit big. I got my usual size 9. I'm still getting somewhat accustomed to the footbed but they do seem to be comfortable. So far, so good.
Bought these for a two week hiking vacation in Patagonia. Wore only 2/3 times before and was concerned that I had not fully broken in. Had zero issues doing full day hikes and loved the level of support— just enough on the ankle to keep everything in place and were cute, weather proof, and comfortable. Highly recommend!
