Right out of the box, these felt great, no need to break them in. The wide toe box is ideal, and the cushioning is fantastic.
Extremely satisfied with the quality of shoes, delivered well with in the mentioned time.
I read the reviews about a design flaw around the tongue of the shoe that digs into your ankle/the top of your foot and causes constant irritation. Sadly I purchased anyway thanks to other positive reviews that really raved about the boots and my own positive experiences with Teva in the past. Long story short, the positive reviews about these boots are entirely misleading. There’s extra material that painfully digs into your ankle/foot with every step. Fortunately I put them on in my house and noticed it right away and promptly sent them back. I’d go with Merrell Moab’s, much more comfortable and highly reviewed.
I had a pair of Ridgeway's from Teva and they were extremely comfortable and were a great shoe so once they were due for replacement i bought these Riva's as a replacement. These are not even close to being as comfortable as the Ridgeway's. The Riva's also have a rigid top that digs into the ankle plus the laces are constantly coming undone. I just cant believe that this company can make a great pair of shoes like the Ridgeway's but then make junk like the Riva's. Do NOT buy these unless you want to waste your money and be uncomfortable, get the Ridgeway's instead and be comfortable all day like i used to be.
Purchased 10.5 and my toes hit the end. Sizing not as advertised
Teva is a good brand, but unfortunately this boot is poorly designed. There is an annoying flap of fabric that’s part of the tongue and inserts at your ankle, making for a constant irritation. (see photo)The shoe also runs about a half size smaller than the label indicates.
Leather scratches easily leaving visible marks. Seems tough though, we’ll see. Love the look and feel.
