Very sturdy
Sensory challenged child likes these shoes. Light. Easy to get on and off. Easy to fasten.
My kiddo wore these shoes as his primary shoes for 6 months and they have held up very well for a kid who plays HARD. We are at the point of replacing them, bit I'm impressed that the fabric and toe area have held up this entire time (most of the time, these areas break down first and within a month or two of wear). The Velcro strap has stayed together instead of frayed apart like other pairs, so that's another plus.I purchased these shoes on clearance through the Stride Rite site itself for $15, and it was well worth the price. I would even pay $40 for them bc they were comfortable and held up well.
