I love these boots! They are very sturdy I think they will last a long time. I have a high arch and true to most Skechers they fit me perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase would definitely purchase again.
So, I’ll preface this by saying I haven’t actually had occasion to wear these out and about yet. But, from what I can tell so far, they’re exactly what I was looking for. I’m not a hiker. But I do want to get out and do more outdoor walking, and I needed a shoe that would give me the comfort of a sneaker, but more traction and ankle support/stability. These shoes appear to accomplish just that. And, they’re true to size. i wear an 11 in all Skechers shoes, and I was a little concerned these would be a touch too small. That concerned me because the biggest size they carry is 11, so I had absolutely no wiggle room whatsoever if they were too small. But, I needn’t have worried. I wouldn’t exactly call them relaxed fit, but it was easy enough to get my foot in, and the insole feels like it’ll give me plenty of cushion. They’re definitely a bit stiffer than the sneakers I normally wear, but I expected that, and I’m okay with it. The collar around the ankle is well padded, but not so much that they’re bulky. They’re lighter weight than a hiking boot, but heavier than a sneaker. The sole is lighter/thinner than a hiking boot, but heavier and thicker than a sneaker. All in all, I feel like this is a really good cross between a sneaker and a hiking boot, and I see myself getting lots of wear out of them. I’ll update this review if anything changes once I have the chance to wear them more than just around the house.
Great quality for the price. I bought them for a girl’s hiking trip. We hiked 8-10 miles a day and they were very comfortable. So pleased I didn’t spend more on the expensive brands.
These shoes really are great. I usually wear a size 8 wide but I ordered an 8.5 and they fit really well. They were uncomfortable for me the first 3 times I wore them but that is usual for me. I’ve had them for about 3 weeks now and they don’t hurt my feet at all. I do wear some thick socks. I live in Washington and it rains so much here I needed something that would keep my feet dry. My feet have been kept dry with these shoes. I walk my husky regularly on a trail and it has been super muddy. These do stain easily and I should have gotten some shoe protection spray. Highly suggest getting some spray if buying these. I only bought this lighter color since it was on sale and had the fastest delivery option. They were super cute before all the mud! I do recommend getting these shoes just apply some spray to them before wearing them out.
This is the second pair of these boots after my first pair got worn out after almost two years of daily wear. They are completely waterproof. I also always get compliments on how they look, although that played no factor in why I purchased them, but is a nice benefit
I've always loved Sketchers because the shoes fit like they molded my foot for them. I have high arches and my feet are slightly wide just before the base of my toes. I wear regular sizes because narrows are impossible and wides are too loose, but a regular usually either fits right off the bat or takes a little breaking in. When I first put these on, it was a bit snug around the widest part of my foot, but after walking around the house a bit, they felt great. These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight. The navy blue is very dark, almost black, and the light blue accents is a pretty shade. I'll update if anything goes wrong after a lot of walking in rainy weather, but right out of the box they are perfect.
I absolutely loved the style, color, and fit of this shoe. Unfortunately I could not get the laces to tighten enough to make this effective as a hiking boot. I also did not like that there wasn’t hooks at the top, it was all loops. They were nice metal loops but for some reason no matter how hard I tried to pull the laces barely moved and the boot would stay loose. I did not see this mentioned in any reviews so maybe I got a defective one?? Anyways I had to return it.
Great shoe took about 20 min of my hike before they broke in and no issue. Now they are super comfy. They were a tiny bit awkward til it broke in but great hiking boot super safe on the trails.
