The Shoes for Crews Rowan Men's Steel Toe Work Boots are designed with both style and safety in mind. These boots not only satisfy ASTM standards but also come with an Electrical Hazard (EH) rating, making them a reliable choice for various work environments. Crafted from water-resistant leather, these boots protect your feet from moisture while maintaining breathability.
The sturdy steel toe design ensures maximum protection against impacts, while the built-in steel shank enhances durability. The slip-resistant GLADIATOR outsole technology provides superior traction on slippery surfaces, ensuring your safety whether you are working indoors or outdoors.

When evaluating the Shoes for Crews Rowan Men's Steel Toe Work Boots, it becomes evident that they excel in multiple aspects crucial for work footwear. First and foremost is their slip-resistant feature. The GLADIATOR outsole effectively prevents slips and falls, making these boots ideal for busy job sites where safety is paramount.
In terms of comfort, the premium Comfort Plus insole is a game changer. It cushions your feet throughout long hours of standing or walking, which is particularly beneficial if your job requires extensive physical activity. However, be mindful of a potential break-in period as some users have reported needing time to get used to the fit.
Additionally, the water-resistant leather upper is a thoughtful feature, especially for outdoor workers. This treatment repels moisture, allowing you to focus on your work without worrying about wet feet. The steel toe adds another layer of protection against workplace hazards, ensuring your toes are safeguarded from heavy objects.
However, it's worth noting that the added safety features do contribute to a heavier feel than traditional non-steel toe boots. For those who prioritize maximum protection over lightweight comfort, this trade-off is likely negligible.

Love everything about these boots! Super comfy, perfect fit!! They are water proof, and slip resistant! The tread on the bottoms is great, plus they come with a tool to clean the tread out! We will only be purchasing this brand from now on!
Super comfy work boots that does it job and my favorite kind of boots so far and I'd recommend this to anyone. 👍
They're not terribly comfortable for being on your feet all day but mine are still new so hopefully they'll break in and get a bit softer. They are really good looking. Also I usually wear an 8.5 in anything with laces but an 8 in sandals or loafers. I accidentally ordered an 8 but they still fit with room to spare.
I work in a meat dept for a grocery chain and these are my go-tos. I’ve tried shoes, other boots, and different versions but these hold up the best. The only negative aspect is the fact that cleaning products and soaps from work eat away at the boots. They are only good for half a year if you clean daily.
My husband works at a ship yard. While I was away seeing family, he wrecked his 3rd pare of boots and he's the type of guy that will put them back together and ductape them shut so he doesn't have to out to get more (he hates shopping). These boots checked ALL the boxes so I ordered them. When I got home, he RAVED about these boots. He told me to make sure I buy the SAME boots next time he needs boots. Get these boots.
So after countless hours of research for a "kitchen boot" I decided to give shoes for crews a chance. I literally just took the boots out of the box, and I have to say I like what I see. After trying on the first boot, I find that they are a bit on the snug side but seem to fit well. Then the problem came, as you might be able to tell from the 2nd and 3rd pic, I laced up the other boot and the lace catch (or whatever it's called) broke off, while trying to lace the boot. This leaves me concerned about the debility and longevity of the boots. Which is a constant battle in any kitchen environment. However, I will make do and see how they do at work, and will update soon.
It as the perfect thing I needed for my job
The only down side to these is the pain experienced until they broke in. Great grip, look, and fit, after wearing for a week and a half. Before that my ankles were in a bad place. Very waterproof and look as though they will hold up better than most sfc products.Update: 6 months of wearing these shows as always, that if you buy sfc, you are buying good soles but nothing else. The upper started peeling after 3 months and is now cracking. Dont buy from sfc if you expect quality.
