Not too heavy excellent
These were comfortable out of the box. Of the 6 or so brands I've tried, Ace was the only one with a decent innersole. The toe box could be wider. Of the brands I tried only one had an ample toe box but didn't fit well otherwise. This may be a problem as I wear them for longer walks and am on my feet longer. The contrasting stitching was sloppy. This is an unnecessary design element, but several areas had thread sticking out. It all looks secure. I plan to dye them as I don't like "bling".Overall it seems to be a good boot.
These boots I got for work don't make me slip at all and I'm happy with the purchase, especially wearing a Size 15. Only thing to say is that the Soles of the shoes are very uncomfortable but if that's the only reason it's nothing to me cause they're for work. Not for Lounging.
I bought these in mid October ‘22, and they arrived fairly quickly. After putting them on, it took a couple days working to break them in, during which point they were a bit uncomfortable, but after that, I haven’t had any problems from them.
Good sturdy shoes..
They were a nice light shoe but I ordered three times only to receive the wrong size each time so I finally went to another source
I work in a hospital 560 rooms walking all night even wet floors these work boots don't miss a beat..100%..
I bought these boots because I needed non-slip soles for my new job, and felt that the toe caps would be of use and the high tops would give a bit more ankle support. The boots took over a week to arrive, and I was rather pleased at how they looked. I normally wear a 16 wide, and can do well enough with a 15 wide if I need to.When I put the first boot on, it felt decent... until I stood up. I understand that a metal toe cap isn't flexible, but one expects that when they order a size that should fit easily that would include all parts of the shoe or boot. The moment I stood up, the edge of the toe cap felt as though it was cutting into the side of my toes, and it hadn't even been laced up yet. I took the boot off and immediately packaged them up for return, and ordered from a different company I know I can rely on to be accurate in their sizing. It's worth noting that while the metal toe cap didn't break the skin, the affected toes didn't stop hurting until two days later. These boots are not worth the $90+ dollars I paid for them by a long shot. They are about three sizes smaller than they're sold as if the fit (or lack of) was any indication.
