I have weird feet. I wear 11 or 12's depending on the shape of the shoe, I have high arches/ (diagnosed plantar fasciitis), and my feet are long and narrow but extra wide at the ball point. The wide versions are normally too wide though so I usually get stuck guessing which to go with no matter what shoe I'm trying.Having said all that, these work boots are amazing. The regular 11's fit me perfectly and there is plenty of toe box room, even before breaking them in. I am a zookeeper and am constantly trudging through dirt, mud, grass, rough terrain, rocks, etc. and they get wet (on the outside) almost every day to varying degrees but always keep my feet dry. They are comfortable to walk in and I have yet to notice and soreness or irritation after a day of work. They have held up for 3 months without issue and are well made for the abuse I put them through (and that's saying a lot in the zoo world).I would highly recommend these to anyone who is going to put some blood, sweat and tears into them. They are definitely worth the price and I would/ do plan to buy again should anything happen to these.
This is the second time I have purchased this exact pair. I wear them when I am on short hikes, when I am on long hikes, and when I am at my landscaping job 5 days a week. My first pair lasted a year and is now my alternate pair when I am working in mud on the farm.
As advertised
I bought these boots in an actual brick and mortar store. They were comfortable the moment I tried them on. The toebox is roomy without being sloppy. I've done short hikes, 6 miles my longest in some rugged terrain. Lots of rocks and steep ups n doane. Comfortable the whole time.
