I really like the Propet Waverly ankle boot. I wear a 10, and it fits perfectly. It looks just as pictured, and seems very well made. I can't speak to its comfort for extended wear as I've only worn it a couple times for a couple of hours, but they are easy to wear. Great styling and the heel height is perfect--gets me off the ground without excessive strain on my knees. I wanted ankle boots that fit fairly close around the ankle area, and these do. They're also plenty wide. I wish they were a little closer fitting across the top of the foot for the sake of aesthetics, but no other complaints. Nice pair of boots.
My feet are hard to fit. My best fits are these Propet 9ww and Dansko 41med. These Propet shoes are super comfy. Having zippers on both sides allows me to adjust the tightness. Once I found my size I bought three pairs. They are my go to boots.
This boot is light-weight and has a nice, sleek style. It is also made with two (2) sippers, (inside and outside) which allows the boot to slip on and off easily. I wear a 8 1/2 W, so even though I inserted orthotics, the fit was still very comfortable in the roomy toe-box.. The only reason that I gave this boot a 4 star was the very snug fit at my ankles. It’s not the mfg. fault, since I assumed that a wide width boot would also provide a little added room at the ankle. It’s leather, so I think that as I wear the boot, the ankle area will stretch and become more comfortable over time.
I’m an “older” person so those of you with Gmas know what I mean, we have foot problems!! These boots give the support in the heels for easier walking, arch support for steadier walking and lots of toe space for those annoying bunions. And come in wide which is good for high instep. 2 zippers, I thought they’d be annoying but for me it made it easier to put on & take off.The wide give really more room like the ww and the ww like www! After my first pair, I got my 2nd!If I could get them at same price I would have ordered other colors than the black!
Good quality leather, but a bit too stiff. Nice style. Unfortunately, I need good support for my arthritic ankles and knees and the heels are quite a bit more narrow than the mid-ball area. I would keep the shoes if the heels were wider, but, I'm going to have to return them
This is a great ankle boot - True to size, very comfortable, and perfect for me, even with high arches. I got them in black and silver.
I have wide feet. I can wear a regular wide in sandals & open-toed shoes, but when it comes to a boot or closed-toed shoe, I do much better with a double wide width shoe. I was rather excited to see that this shoe was listed in my size, 6 XW, so I ordered it, awaiting its quick arrival with much anticipation. After it arrived, I, obviously, tried it on, and noticed that it was far too long in length. In looking at the sizing printed on the boots themselves and the box, I had been sent 6.5 XW, which was strange as that size was nowhere in the listing of sizes offered. So, I ordered again thinking that maybe it was a mispick in the warehouse or something. Nope, again I received a size 6.5 XW. So I tried one last time in case *I* was doing something wrong, but this time I also noticed in my basket, the 6XW size called out on the page appeared in the cart as 6H 2E. After digging around on the net a bit, the best I can tell is that the 'H' means 6+1/2 - the width was right (2E=XW), but not the actual size of the shoe in this particular listing. I do hope someone comes along & fixes this error as I've also called Amazon twice directly to report the error. So, while the boots were perfect in style & were just what I wanted, I'm not able to critique them properly since I never got to try them in my appropriate size; they probably would've been a 5-starred purchased, but I'm only giving 1-star in hopes that this review might both help the next person get their true size AND so maybe someone fixes the error in the listing itself.
I love them and they're my go-to! I wear an 8WW, and it is ridiculously hard to find cute, comfortable shoes for hobbit feet. I walk miles in these, plus they're real leather.
