Easy to get on (important for a toddler). They fit great and I love the color. Aren’t overly cushioned which I like so he can wear thicker socks when it’s colder out. Great boot for everyday wear and playing in the snow!

These are wonderful shoes and my sons favorite! Not only are they great for healthy foot development but they are awesome for play in the rain, mud, snow and ice! My husband is a physical therapist, so we make sure to buy our littles shoes that support healthy foot development.
Fits great, wide toe box, easy to put on and remove.
I love everything about these shoes, the wide toe box, the versatility, how my 3 year-old can independently put them on, all the activities he can do in them, but the Velcro strap wears off quickly and doesn’t stay strapped. Not a huge deal breaker for me as I will replace that myself but it’s definitely something Merrel should fix.
These are great any time for my wild child son.
I purchased 2 pairs (a pair each for my daughter and son… both 2.5 years old). These shoes are adorable and perfect for the PNW weather and children’s hiking/walking trails. I noticed that their regular sneakers didn’t have traction on the bottom of their shoe which made it easier for them to slip while walking, running or playing in the gravel/dirt trails. They are also water proof for occasional puddles or rain. I still use their rain boots for the rain, but for the wet ground… these boots are perfect!
Love these shoes for our child with large wide feet. Very comfortable for him to walk in and their size chart is spot on- take measurements.
