These boots really look nice, leather seems great, outer sole is quality. That is where the good stops though, because the insole is almost non-existent and the toe box is narrow and angled. They need to make them foot shaped and add some level of support.
I bought a pair of these a couple years ago, and loved them so much I just bought a second pair! If you keep these well oiled, they’ll last for years! I love the way these fit. I have naturally thicker ankles, so I love that the opening is a bit wider than most Chelsea boots. I wear these for 10+ hour days on the farm and they’re very comfy!
I so appreciate these boots. I like that they look like a paddock boot and are still a work boot. I work in the equine industry and after getting pregnant knew I wanted a boot that looked professional but would slip on. These boots have been pretty comfortable until my final month of pregnancy (when literally nothing was comfortable) maybe better with inserts. I waterproofed them after I got them and they’ve held up great the past couple months
I am in love with these boots! I got them for a pair of work/outside chores boots and I wear them all the time. They are very comfortable and look great with light and dark jeans. I will be getting another pair whenever these ones wear out!
After three failed attempts at being happy with another well know brand of Chelsea style boot, I stumbled across the Kodiak brand in an online search. I liked the look of the boot and it was perfect for what I planned to use these boots for. I ordered the boot and two days later when I received them, I took my time opening the box thinking I just might be disappointed like the last three times with the other brand.To my surprise I was immediately impressed with the quality of this boot. I had to try them on right then. I was so happy with the fit and the aesthetics and the fit of the boot I had to immediately go show them to my husband. He must have really liked them because he asked me if they had the same style in the a men's boot. I looked and they do, so I immediately placed an order for his boot.Some reviews mentioned the lack of insole cushioning which I didn't find an issue but for a work boot I always change the insoles to a gel insole because of the miles I put on the boot.I cannot wait to wear these this weekend. Awesome quality, materialmanship, fit, and look. Five Star Review from me!!
I was looking for a ‘Chelsea’ boot that had more of a work boot feel rather than a dress boot feel. These fit the bill. Fits as expected. I was worried that they would look ‘clunky’, or like I was wearing a mans boot, but this is not the case. They are cute, and exactly what I was going for. I feel like they will break in nicely. I am giving 4 stars because I was expecting them to be more comfortable than they are. If I WAS looking to wear these as an all day work boot, I’m not sure these would cut it. I feel they need more cushioning. I will be purchasing cushion insoles to make them perfect for me. With that aside, I am very happy with this purchase, and would recommend.
These shoes are very well made. I was sorry to find out that they were way too wide for my narrow feet even with the thickest socks. Returned.
Loved these. How I love leather! Too wide and flat for my flat narrow foot though. Need just a little heel. Love that they are not tight around ankle. Returned.
