The KEEN Women's Targhee 2 Pull On Mid Height Leather Chelsea Boot stands out with its thoughtful design tailored for outdoor activities. The mid-cut height not only provides added ankle support but also enhances stability when navigating uneven surfaces, which is crucial during hikes or nature walks.
One of the highlight features of this boot is its excellent grip. The KEEN ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole ensures that you can confidently traverse through muddy patches and rocky paths without worrying about slips. This makes these boots reliable companions for unpredictable weather conditions and varying landscapes.
In terms of comfort, the Metatomical Footbed Design supports the arches of your feet remarkably well, allowing for extended wear without discomfort. The breathable mesh lining works efficiently to wick away moisture, keeping your feet fresh throughout the day. Additionally, the removable PU insole adds to the long-lasting comfort, enabling customization according to your foot type. However, those who are looking for a lightweight option may want to consider that at 17.4 oz per boot, these are relatively heavier than some competitors.
On the downside, potential buyers should be prepared for a possible break-in period; while many find them comfortable right out of the box, others report a need for some time before achieving optimal feel. Nonetheless, for casual wear or recreational hiking, these boots provide a solid balance between performance and aesthetics.

They are great ankle high winter boots. I have a high instep and and a slightly wide foot, and they fit very well. They are so easy to slip into and they look great. These are my second pair of keen ankle high boots. I love how comfortable they are.
I couldn't ask for a better replacement boot for my Ariat's that I could no longer wear due to the heel. These are essentially zero drop and my feet are thanking me for them (apparently I can't wear anything with even a slight heel anymore). The leather top is soft and flexible, the inside is breathable, and the sole gives good support. In the summer heat, my feet do sweat and get damp in them, but at no fault of the boot - it's just what feet do! I love that the design allows the sole to curl up over the toe a little bit as the toe is usually a point of scuffing anyway, and it deflects some of the dew/rain off of grass when I'm walking through. I think they'll need to be re-waterproofed with as much as I wear them around wet places, but so far, so good (I've had them for about 2 months).
These boots are cute and very comfortable! I ended up having to exchange my usual size 7 1/2 for a 7, as they run a little big. Good purchase.
I ordered a half size smaller than usual after reading many reviews that said they ran large. They were too small and I had to send them back. I then ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. Compared to other Keen boots, the toe box is not quite as roomy but still plenty roomy for my feet and bunions when wearing a sock of medium thickness. Easy to get on and off. You can wear them anywhere and don't feel or look like you are wearing hiking boots. Very nice looking, too. I am going to apply a waterproofing product to them since they are only water resistant.
The boots were too big for me, but Keens are so great. I just wished Keen would go back and make the womens boots they made about five years ago. I have the brown knee boots and black calf boots. They are wonderful. The toe is more feminine. They are great for long days on concrete or shopping.
Super comfortable with excellent tread.
Run large and wide, fit more like a ten than a 9.5. My other keens have been short in the toe box, but these are not which is a pleasant surprise. Plenty of room for my toes. Great for thick socks. Really comfortable foot bed, with bouncy heel cushion, sturdy non slip sole on snow and ice, not too hot to wear all day at work. Easy on and off for me. Love everything about them! Keeping for sure
I like Keens and, after reading the worst reviews, worried that these wouldn’t be like the old ones. I liked them right away and wear them everyday for my walks in the woods and on the road walking my dogs.
