These fit perfectly and are so comfortable. The quality is very nice and they are so fashionable!
These are great looking but just a bit snug, wish the toe box was a bit roomier. In addition the front of the boot is a bit stiff. The leather is quality and hasn't searched at all even with forest hiking. But the front doesn't give and cuts into the front of my calf just above the ankle.
Good quality fits perfect
After reading all the reviews I was very concerned and that they would be tight, but they were exactly what I had been looking for and I love all my other Keens so much I just had to give them a shot. I normally wear a 10.5 in Keen and a 10 wide in just about everything else. Initially, they pinched and creased, right where my big toe connects to my foot. I spent about a week walking around the house every day trying to break them in, eventually, the stiffness wore off and they are my favorite shoes...at least until it is warm enough to switch to my keen sandals. I'm looking to buy at least one more pair in a different color, if not a backup in black if the price is right.
UPDATE - I was set to return these when winter weather hit and I needed a good shoe for wet, rainy, cold weather. And I found out that these boots are not insulated nor water-proof. Water leaks in at the seams (???) and makes my cold feet even colder. And sadly I found out that the insole is not sufficient nor removable, which means I can’t replace the insole with my preferred Superfeet :( :(This would be a great winter boot--cute, nice thick leather, thick sole with good traction. However, the leather is too stiff. Couple that with the high opening and it feels like an iron leg cuff, chafing my leg above the ankle. As others have noted, the boot seems a bit narrow in the toe, yet it's too big at the other end--too much heel slippage. The heel problem would clear up with thick socks but there's not enough room in the toe box. Not good for a winter boot. And weirdly, the pair that was shipped to me from Cool J's was oddly matched--my left boot was shiny and the right boot matte. Sadly, I have to return these cute boots. Too High, Too Stiff, Too Narrow, Too Wide, Too Shiny, Too Matte!
First day in them, and so far so good! I’m liking the feel of them on my feet not to big or small. The color is beautiful.
These boots have good traction and a solid base which is why I kept them. In my opinion they look more like a durable boot than a fashion boot. I have a high instep, with a wide toe bed and a narrow heel. My heel does not slide and wiggle in these boots. The instep is adequate but not the amazing fit of my other Keen products. The toe bed is slightly narrow on my smaller foot, so I am hopeful they will stretch enough through wear to be as comfortable as I'd like.
I love Keen shoes/ boots, great to stand and work in 8+ hours a day, however these were a huge disappointment. Toe came scuffed, generic dirty box, not a Keen box like I was expecting, and the stitching is brown on one boot and black on the other boot. Will be returning.
