The KEEN Utility Women's Lansing Mid Height Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boots excel in several important areas. First, let's discuss comfort. The asymmetrical steel toe design cleverly accommodates the natural shape of a woman’s foot, providing ample space in the toe box without compromising on safety. The TPU stability shank also ensures that your arch is supported, which is especially beneficial for long hours on your feet.
Next, the waterproof feature is noteworthy. Thanks to the KEEN.DRY membrane, your feet remain dry even in wet conditions, making these boots reliable for outdoor jobs. Additionally, the moisture-wicking lining plays a crucial role in maintaining comfort during prolonged wear.
When it comes to safety, these boots come equipped with slip-resistant outsoles, which provide excellent traction on various surfaces. This aspect is particularly vital when working in environments where spills or slick surfaces are common.
Lastly, consider the sustainability factor. KEEN Utility takes pride in sourcing leather from responsibly managed tanneries and incorporates probiotics into their products to combat odor naturally. This aligns with modern consumer expectations for environmental responsibility.

I soaked these in black clothing dye (in case they seem to appear darker in my picture than advertised, that is why) I put cushion inserts in the shoes (as I do with all my work shoes) so my saying they are comfortable may be due to the inserts. I haven't worn them without. I like the shoes. Seem to be of great quality. Kind of heavy, but I've had to wear steel toe for so long I've grown used to the weight. If the sight of them appeals to you, then I'm confident you will be happy with these shoes. They seem true to size and have held up well. I've had them for a year.
I love Keen work boots. I have short but wide feet and I love that Keen boots fit so well. They are very comfortable.
Great boot. Good fit. Feels very protective. Takes a beating. Long lasting. I get a new pair every two years bc my employer will pay for it, but they last for longer. I save my older boots for hiking or dirty/muddy work.
Love them!

I wanted to love this boot as a boot, but it fits like a shoe. I love Keens and always support the brand as they always fit and are comfortable day one. This "boot" however has no ankle support. At the front of the shoe at the laces it fits like a boot, then at the ankle it tapers down at the back and wears like a shoe providing NO ankle support. The shoe is weighty, so ankle support is necessary. Saddened I have to return these.
I have tried and spent a lot of money on steel toe shoes. All of them hurt my feet so bad, by the end of work I could barely walk. Finally I found a pair of shoes that do not hurt my feet!! They are comfortable and not heavy. I definitely recommend them!!!
I actually anticipated these to be not so comfortable as my last pair of hiking boots. However, these are actually quite comfortable & very sturdy.I may have to swap the laces out though because the laces won't stay tied.
