The KEEN Howser 2 Quilted Waterproof Chukka Boots excel in providing a warm, comfortable experience for kids. Their innovative design includes a fleece-lined interior that effectively captures body heat while ensuring breathability, which is essential for active youngsters. During our testing, we noted how well they performed in various conditions, from muddy playgrounds to rainy outdoor expeditions.
One standout feature is their waterproof capabilities, thanks to the KEEN.DRY technology. This allowed kids to play freely without worrying about wet feet, significantly enhancing their outdoor experience. Additionally, the non-marking rubber outsole ensures that parents can rest easy knowing their floors will remain scratch-free.
The ease of putting on these boots is a significant advantage. Kids can effortlessly slip them on, thanks to the pull-on design and lace-lock bungee system. This feature not only promotes independence but also makes the morning rush a lot smoother for parents trying to get their kids ready for school.
However, there are some considerations to keep in mind. Although most users appreciate the wider fit, some might find it runs larger than expected, so double-checking the size chart is recommended when purchasing. Also, a limited range of colors might not satisfy every child's aesthetic preferences.
Overall, the KEEN Howser 2 Quilted Waterproof Chukka Boots stand out as a reliable option for parents looking for durable, waterproof footwear that combines style and function for their children. With thoughtful construction and attention to detail, these boots are designed to withstand the rigors of childhood play while keeping little feet cozy and dry.

I bought these for my son last year too - he loves them. They keep his feet warm, are easy to clean, go with everything, easy on/off, and stay looking nice for the season which is hard to find in young boys shoes thanks to the the wrap up sole onto the toe.
Purchased these shoes for my son, I wanted a waterproof shoe that looks nice and can be worn casually. This shoe has plenty of room for his foot to spread, good traction and is fairly easy to get on and off.We live in MI and our winters are wet/cold. Kids don’t need a snow boot everyday, this is a great option for a shoe that has snow boot quality but isn’t bulky or too hot.I get questions from other moms whenever we are out about these shoes!
We bought a pair of these for our toddler and they were so cool that I bought a Big Kids size 7 for myself. Our whole family has super wide feet and these fit so well! Warm, easy to put on so far, pretty durable.
Child liked this shoe. He normally wears size 2.5, got this in a 3 (didn’t see half sizes), and IT WAS TOO SMALL! How is that possible? Maybe a manufacturing error? Sadly will have to return. I thought my timing was perfect ordering a waterproof boot right before it’s supposed to rain….
I really like these. The one thing I didn’t realize was that they are insulated, so I was not prepared to have such warm feet! If that’s what you’re looking for they are great. Granted I bought them for classroom wearing, not outside, so I’ve almost exclusively worn them inside. But as a quick change when coming inside from recess they’re great, fast to get on/off, comfortable, fun style, and easy to wipe off.
We took these to Japan and they were comfortable for our kids and kept their feet dry when it rained. They were lightweight too!
My 6 year old daughter wears these shoes almost every day. It rains a lot here and these keep the water out without being bulky like other waterproof shoes. My daughter loves them. We bought our first pair almost a year ago and she just grew out and we bought the next size up. They held up really well for almost a year of wearing them. Eventually the lace clasp broke, but she was due for the next size up anyway. She's very excited about the new color and the glow-in-the-dark clasp.
These shoes are very cute but they are definitely not waterproof. My son walked outside on the grass that was covered with morning dew and when I took the shoes off, his socks were soaked. I could feel the water seeping through. Don’t waste your money!
