Fit true to size, looks great, should keep her feet dry for wet outside play
My daughter loves these boots. She has smaller ankles so these ones are the only ones that stay nicely on her feet. Very durable. Will buy again when needed.
I bought these rain boots for my 3 year old daughter. She's very tall, so I was worried about sizing. I will say that these rain boots run about a size too small. She has kamik snow boots where a size 9 is perfect and roomy. I exchanged these for the size 10's and am very happy with the purchase. The fit is great and they come up almost to her knees, great for the wet nasty spring we are about to have! They're also an adorable less-expensive option to Hunter Wellingtons and more chic then something covered in a wild print. The bottoms are very gripy and structured, rather then flat like most rain boots, so I am comfortable with her wearing them on long walks and so is she. Once opened they had a strong rubber smell, but they're rubber so that wasn't a surprise and after a day of play that was gone. We will purchase these again when she outgrows the current ones.
These are great boots for rowdy kids. My son wore holes through the Lonecone brand in less than a month, whereas we've had these boots now for a month and a half and the treads still look brand new. They are a narrow leg opening and since they don't have pull handles you may need to help your kid put them on, but my 3.5 year old has that figured out now. Still need to master putting them on the right feet though! The upturned front in the toe box is actually a really nice design since most kids tend to drag their feet a lot when they wear rain boots. These feel lightweight enough that my kid is not too bogged down with the extra weight when compared to sneakers.
I purchased these boots for my 2 year old son who loves playing in the garden and running through water. After reading other reviews that stated the boots run small, I went a size up (from a 6 to 7). After receiving them, they definitely do run small and should have went at least 2 sizes up. They fit just right (which for kids, means it only last a short time), and I decided to keep them. I should have probably exchanged them for a larger size but he was very excited to wear them. They are made well and has a nice height to cover half-way up the leg. They are snug fitting throughout and although my son has regular to slightly wide feet, he has narrow legs and did give a little room around the calf area. It is perfect for the garden and stayed on very well while he was running around. After a couple of months, he did outgrow them but they are still in great condition and will keep them for lil brother.
My son uses these boots in the horse barn. He loves them, says they are very comfortable and so far they are very durable.
Bought these for my son. He loves them. They are stylish and most importantly his toes remain dry!
I am a big fan of Kamik boots. This is my third pair because my first pair, after several years of constant wear, finally wore out. I order Big Kids size because it's hard to find adult sizes that fit. I keep one pair in the trunk of my car and the other at home. Since I live in a rainy, sometimes muddy climate, these boots are worn often. If it matters to you, they are made in Canada and are vegan friendly.
