I love these little shoes! Just like the ones my Mom had for me in the 80's, that she tied the jingle bells on. That makes me happy. They're well made and very sturdy. The bottoms ARE very slippery, though, so I bought non-slip adhesives and cut them to fit, and my little one has had no problems.Regarding other reviewers' complaints about the shoes rubbing their baby's ankles raw, these are a high-top boot, so you need to be sure to put taller socks on with them to prevent rubbing, just like you would for yourself. I've had no issues whatsoever. The high top, flat bottom design is perfect for training little walkers.Did I mention how cute they are?
For it being “2nd hand”, it was in great condition. There were very minimal markings on the shoe. I had to look closely because I thought it was brand new. The quality & the fit was on point. Will use seller again.
I love them they’re so great for new walkers they shaped my baby feet very nice and I can’t keep her out of them
The soles are leather which keeps the kids from tripping, however they are slick for the babes so putting duct tape or masking tape on the bottoms help. Fit is good. Not sure this came in narrow. They would be wide for a skinny foot. LOVE seeing my grand kids in these.
They were great we just had to scrap the bottoms for some grip.
Children should definitely start off with the perfect shoes to ensure proper feet and walking development. These are it!! Plus the burgundy is soooo rich.
So we ordered these because the doctor said that my kid would need hardbottom shoes with good ankle support. Upon arrival we were so excited we put them right on and then we realized the bottom is so slippery that my kid was slipping and sliding all over the place and kept falling down. We couldn’t get him to wear them comfortably until my dad decided to use a bicycle tire and adhered it to the bottom of the shoe so the shoes had tread. This helped with traction. Innovative on my dad‘s part unfortunately the shoe without any adjustments just isn’t beneficial.
I have a 10 month old, and ordered a size 4 according to the size chart. The size chart shows a toddler size 4 as 4.5 inches (this gave him room to grow into them). When I received them they were way too big, so I measured them and they are over 5 inches. I measured inside the stitching of the soles. I am going to keep them, because he will grow into them. The quality is great, and they are super cute. However, I need to order a pair that he can wear now, and I'm not sure what size to order. I don't know if the pair I received has the wrong size, and they are really a size 6, or if they run big and the size chart is off.
