The Irish Setter VaprTrek stands out in multiple ways, particularly in its comfort category. With the removable polyurethane footbed and memory foam elements, you can expect a snug fit that molds to your feet, significantly reducing fatigue during prolonged use.
In terms of waterproofing, the combination of full grain leather and UltraDry technology ensures that moisture is kept at bay, making these boots an excellent choice for hunting trips in unpredictable weather. You will appreciate how dry your feet remain, even after hours of trekking through wet landscapes.
Another noteworthy feature is the traction. The robust outsole design, complete with rubber lugs, offers exceptional grip, providing confidence even on slippery or uneven surfaces. This is essential when navigating through challenging terrains while hunting.
As for weight, the PRM technology incorporated into these boots means they are significantly lighter than many traditional options without compromising on durability. You’ll find that it’s easier to cover ground without feeling weighed down.
The insulation provided by 400g PrimaLoft is another highlight, keeping your feet cozy even in colder conditions. Plus, knowing that this insulation is derived from post-consumer plastic bottles adds an eco-conscious element that many consumers will find appealing.

As a lady hunter I have had a hard time finding good boots. I have narrow feet so I don't like wearing men's boots as they're always too wide and I feel my feet "slosh" around in them from side to side. I have also had other's women's boots that I just didn't like.Hunted in these all season this year, they were warm, comfortable (even when new) and fit my foot perfectly. I don't wear boots too often in my day to day life so my feet always feel super restricted and I don't like feeling like I can't control my feet, these were the first boots that really didn't make them feel this way.Super happy with this purchase!
Keeps your feet warm and dry. They run a little small. Had to go up a size.
Fit too snug on my feet. Returned. Pretty boots though
Seem like really good boots! My only thing is I have flattish feet and the insole is so arched in the arch I couldn’t do an hour long hike in them. I prefer my heavy Georgia 200mg boots over these! I like how light the setters are though. Wish they came up higher like my Georgia’s.
I ordered these in hopes that I would finally find a good hunting boot for a woman.... I was so very wrong!!! They are not wide what so ever!!! The actual shoe sizing is off too because I went a size up and it was still to tight. I wore them out in the woods hunting 3 different times with no change or stretching . I do not believe the price of these boots are in any way worth it! They are cheaply made and have no grip while walking in the woods! I would contact the seller but I already wore them because....you have to see how they fit and give them a honest review so I won’t be able to return but I will NEVER buy from this company again and no one else should either!
I wear size seven in all shoes. The right was too narrow and the left I could not get my foot in the boot. The inner material was loose and bunches up when I tried to put my foot in.
Shoe lace hook broke the first time I wore them, stitching was undone upon unboxing.
