Boots were of the quality I had hoped for. They fit perfectly and are more comfortable than I thought they would be. Arrived in excellent condition on time.
I have no complaints about these shoes. Incredibly comfortable and they look great. Bought a second pair in a different color shortly after wearing these for a week. If I could find these in box toe it would be amazing (I like my toe room). Don't let that comment deter you. They are exactly what you would expect from a round toe shoe.
Feels like good quality glove leather for your feet. Fully lined and very comfortable. One reviewer mentioned the sole was a bit thin and if you stepped on a Lego you’d feel it. It is a bit thinner than other boots I own but that contributes to a comfortable walk. Hopefully they’ll hold up. The only issue I have is with the zipper. When they sewed the zipper in it was too close to the leather not leaving much of a flap on either side. Where the boot leather is sewn together horizontally about 1/4 of the way up the zipper gets pinched a little. I’ll see if the zipper holds up. I still gave it 5 stars for the quality of the leather and the workmanship.
These boots are nice. They are soft inside and out meaning they won't crease on the outside as quickly because they aren't a stiff boot. The inside is AMAZING. They feel so comfortable. You will forget you have boots on. I put in a pair of Dr. Scholl's too and that put the comfort over the top. With that said, here are the negatives: The bottoms are thin and soft. In other words, if you had them on and stepped on a Lego piece, your foot would feel it and probably uncomfortably so. I am someone who is tough on soles so I ended up buying a thick pair of soles here on Amazon along with some black Shoe Goo and "played Operation." They came out nice and more of how I would want them to be. Been wearing them for a few months and the soles and Shoo Goo are holding up well. So, if you order these and your preferences are similar to mine, now you have an option instead of sending them back or not being completely satisfied. Now as I mentioned I bought a pair of Dr. Scholl's too. This not only added comfort but helped with the size issue. I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 8.5 and they were still a bit too loose. The inserts helped. Even still, they aren't tight. So if you like a tight fitting boot, you may want to go a size down. They feel snug but not right on my feet. If I concentrate on it, I can notice some slight sliding on the heel as I walk but it isn't anything major. I've worn them for hours working the room as a performer and experienced zero discomfort so it isn't a concern for me. Hope this helps.
I have been wearing Florsheim boots for some time, and was quite disappointed when they discontinued my favorite style. These are a good replacement, but not perfect. The look is nice as they fit for wearing to a formal event and work well also for casual dress. The boot is nice and soft and the interior is quite comfortable. They fit as expected and wear quite nicely, the one issue I have is that it has a rubber sole. I prefer the hard leather soles on the bottom of my boot, but it seems that the option for a leather sole is becoming harder and harder to find unless you are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on the boot. As it is these would perfect except for that sole.
I love wearing this boot. Extremely comfortable. Looks great.
