The Columbia Youth Unisex Powderbug Forty Print boots shine in several critical areas. Firstly, their waterproof capabilities are commendable; thanks to Columbia's Omni-Tech technology, water simply beads off the surface, keeping moisture away from your child's feet. This feature is crucial during winter months when snow tends to melt and refreeze.
Moreover, the 400g insulation ensures that even during the coldest days, children’s feet will stay warm. The boots are rated for extreme temperatures down to -40°F/-40°C, making them suitable for various winter conditions.
The boot's construction boasts a synthetic leather and nylon upper coupled with a flexible injection-molded rubber shell, which adds to their durability. These materials are also designed to withstand wear and tear, perfect for active kids who love playing outdoors.
Additionally, the ease of entry provided by the toggle closure system is a significant advantage. Kids can quickly put on or remove their boots without the hassle of complex straps or laces, promoting independence.
On the downside, some parents have noted that these boots might be too warm for milder winter days, leading to sweaty feet. Additionally, sizing can be somewhat limited, so it's essential to check the right size before purchasing.
Despite minor drawbacks, the Columbia Youth Unisex Powderbug Forty Print boots offer an impressive package of warmth, waterproofing, and practical features tailored for young adventurers.

You can even go to the poles with these boots! It has a removable felt-like lining inside, I'll try and see in the winter but with that it sure looks like the feet will stay warm and dry. Because of this lining, the fit is getting a little smaller, taking into account the thick socks, it would be good to order one size bigger, I did the same and I didn't regret it. As an adult I bought the big kid size 37/38 for myself so the weight is not a big deal but younger kids may find the boot heavy.
My son says these fit perfectly!
My son loves them. They have been keeping him warm during his sledding sessions. Their grip works well because I see him walking up the hill without slipping.
Sturdy heavy snow boot
These boots run tight in the ankle so make sure to size up. Other than that great boot.
My kid had dry feet and could run outside all day in winter and spring in these. Worth the investment. I'd say they run small, size up.
Always on the lookout for quality boots for low price for kids since we may get a season out of one pair. Daughter loved these. Warm, dry and stylish for an 11-yr. Wisconsin based so she gets plenty of use.
Totally money worth. My daughter loves them and keeps her feet dry and warm all day, even the coldest ones.
