Bought for Grandson, 8yo/ size 2.He likes them and now wears them everyday, says that they are comfy. The most important feature for me, is that the boots keep his feet dry, toasty and comfortable. Well priced. My choice for next Winter as well.
They are warm, waterproof, comfortable and great quality for a good prize
We buy the same boots, year after year, size after size. They’re perfect for a busy outdoor kid in the snow. Super warm and waterproof. Removable liners can be dried separately—and much more quickly than a whole soggy boot.
The boots look very sturdy and strong. It goes high enough to keep the snow from getting in unless you pour snow and water in on purpose. There is a inner shell which my kid said it was comfortable. It can easily be removed for cleaning. They are a bit on the heavier side. And they look huge. My kiddo wears youth size 3. The boots seem impossible for size three at first glance, but when we took the inner shell out snd wear them along, the size is reasonable. So I think the outer shoes are just huge to accommodate the thick inner layer. Overall, the shoes are very bulky and inflexible outside. These won’t be my ideal shoes for kids, but there are not many options this year. Giving that Columbia is a good brand and the price is no more than other less known brands in the market, we are keeping them. I am hoping that their functions will outweigh the bulky look. By the way, the boots along do look handsome. It is just huge as if a kid in them are wearing an oversized pair.
I live in Southern California and realized last minute that my son’s snow boots from last year did not fit a couple days before we left for a ski trip. These boots arrived quickly. They are very well made and got my son through a blizzard during our trip with no complaints. Would buy again.
My son loves these buy them bigger then your shoe size they are great my son doesn’t feel cold with these.
I bought these snow boots for my 5-year-old son and he's putting them to the test. Totally waterproof and durable, very thick padding and tred. Easy to clean. We'll keep them to hand down to our youngest child afterwards.
I ordered a size up to make sure these would fit and have some room to grow over winter. Even with normal socks on, I couldn't get them on my 2yr old. I took the lining out to try and that part on first and it was so tight around the ankle I couldn't even get them fully on. The boot wasn't too small, just too tight and stiff to get on. Left the insulation out and just put the boot on and it was fine, but there is Velcro on the bottom of the shoe for the lining to stick too so that was bothering my son and then the rubber boot part was rubbing his heels, so he wouldn't walk at all, just cried and wanted picked up.
