I originally purchased this shoe from Nordstrom a little over 2 years ago for my daughter in a size 7 which were to big for her. I tried them on and they fit me perfectly. I feel they are true to size. My daughter and I love these shoes. I had a fracture in my foot and these are the only shoes I can wear without feeling any pain in my foot. They soften up and fit my foot perfectly. They have never hurt my feet while wearing them. I can wear them 24 hrs, if I had to. They are that good for me. Nordstrom stopped carrying these 2 years ago, so I'm constantly looking on Amazon for this shoe. I have also purchased these same shoes for another daughter who wears a 8.5 and she is in love with them too. I sure hope Clarks start making these again...
So…I wasn’t sure what to think when I read the reviews. I read a lot of complaints about sizing. I ordered an 8 which is my actual shoe size. Preferably, I normally look for a wide option but these boots are just right. They’re sleek, fashionable, and a great price compared to other black leather Chelsea’s. I highly recommend.
I wear a size 7.5 normally, sometimes an 8. I purchased the 7.5 and the shoe fits great. I have a narrow foot so I'm guessing that these might be a bit snug if you have a wider foot. It is comfortable and is a nice boot, however, if you are purchasing from Canada you will be charged duty and handling upon shipment. This was an extra $45 due when I picked them up. This amount, on top of the dollar exchange rate, doesn't make the purchase worth it in my opinion. I paid almost twice the amount that the boot was listed at. If you love the boot and the extra money doesn't bother you than purchase them.
Beautiful boots! They break in immediately and feel like a dream on my feet - wore them all day the first time I wore them, and didn't have any pain. These do run large! I have wide feet and normally wear 8, but had to size down to a 7.5 (7.5 wide was also HUGE). I wish the soles are also leather as they look like they won't last as long with the rubber/plastic combo, but I will totally rebuy these bots if my current pair wears out after a few seasons.
I got my true size, 6.5 wide, and it felt like one size up. But I like it too much, so I ordered another one and it arrived today. This size 6 regular width is just perfect! Can’t wait to use it. It’s very comfy and looks perfect for any color jeans. (Anyone wants to buy my 6.5 wide, tho? jk)
I got these in a shiny black leather. I've been wearing Clarks shoes and boots for decades, but these do not fit the same as my other boots. I have several other UK5-5 Clarks boots which fit great, but these are super loose around the ankles and large overall. I can't return them, so I'm hoping that adding an insole will help.
I’ve been looking for a Chelsea boot style and these are perfect. Love them! True to size and color is more brownish than green. Will be a perfect neutral and the simplicity is great. Always seem to find a good fit with Clark’s.
