There was almost no break-in period, these were comfortable right away... almost like wearing moccasins.
Its been a while since i had a pair from Born, but i did wear my first pair until they were absolutely worn out. Lol. These are every bit as comfy, as expected, just alittle classier as a boot this time. My last pair were shoes, ant not quite as dressy. But the comfort is consistent! And i am ALL about the comfort.
I spent months doing Try Before You Buy to find the perfect boots for my wide toe box. These weren't a first pick because I wanted smooth leather and feared the suede-look (processed leather) would wear out quickly, but after trying no less than. 20 other boots I tried these. They're amazing. They stay on but have plenty of space for a wide toe box, they're easy to get on and off, and they feel durable. I've had them a week and worn them every day. They don't need breaking in like other leather boots seem to. I love, love, love them. I'm a woman and generally wear a women's 12W or men's 10.5.

These boots are not even womens--yet they are advertised as such, then they charge you 20% to return them after they falsely advertise them as womens!
