The BOGS Women's Sauvie Chelsea Waterproof Garden Rain Boot is an impressive blend of style and functionality. One of the standout features is its seamless design, which guarantees no leaks even when you're knee-deep in mud. Users will appreciate how lightweight these boots feel; you'll hardly notice you're wearing them during long gardening sessions.
Comfort is paramount, and thanks to the breathable upper, your feet won’t feel stifled as you work. This feature is particularly valuable on warm days when you might otherwise feel overheated. In addition, the ankle-high shaft makes for easy on-and-off wear, which is a definite plus when you're busy tending to your garden.
However, keep in mind that while these boots excel in wet conditions, they may not provide ample insulation during colder months. Thus, if you live in an area with harsh winters, you might want to consider layering socks or seeking alternatives specifically designed for colder temperatures. Also, those with wider feet might find the fit somewhat snug, so trying them on beforehand is recommended.

I usually wear a size 6.5 in other shoes. I went based on the measurements and ordered a size 6. That was a mistake. They were fine if I wanted to wear without socks. But with this type of material - if worn without socks - your feet will definitely get sweaty. Also the elastic-y thing on top was pretty snug and kind of uncomfortable.I returned the size 6 and went with the size 7. The size 7 is perfect, and I have room to wear them with socks. They’re 100% waterproof and very supportive! I work as a grooming assistant/bather and haven’t had any issues with water leaking through the shoes. I also love the fact they are slip resistant and supportive, since I’m on my feet all day. No aching, wet feet at the end of the day. Perfect.
I absolutely love my new Bogs! They fit like a charm. Easy to get on and very comfortable! They are a definite true to size fit. I recommend these shoes to anyone who works outside in all kinds of weather or with chemicals as they are chemical resistant which is good in my line of work plus they're slip resistant so they work for working in kitchens and such. They also look good with jeans and casual clothes. This product deserves all 5 stars.
This boot fit well and was satisfactory until the toe on the right boot separated from the sole. It now leaks and will no doubt come apart. The return window has passed but this quality of boot should last more than three months. I have used them for rain boots and light gardening. I would like to return them for another pair or a refund. Please let me know how to do this. Thank you .
I am an 8.5 with a high instep. I'd been looking for a new waterproof gardening shoe/boot to work in my boggy Seattle garden. Got these and I think I'm going to be very happy. I went with a size 9 and length width are great. I have old injuries and surgeries and these don't rub anywhere. They are very snug around my ankle with my high instep, but this means the bark and water and weeds won't get in. I do wear my gardening shoes barefoot so it's important nothing rubs. And these don't rub. Not actually sure I could get socks in these as the ankle is snug. I'm now looking for another casual pair to wear out and about in our rainy most of the year.
Didn’t work out for my girl. Return with Amazon was seamless.
Update - Here is what happened to these phenomenal boots! I couldn't figure out why my foot was getting wet! I bought them in FEB and they are useless today. So disappointed! My first review I have searched for something just like this but went for the $39 bargain stuff! Search no further for a perfect garden, dog walking, mud trekking, not so deep snow great bootie! This is beyond what I wanted. Best part they are comfy. I got a 10 for my 9-9.5 and with a thick sock they are amazing. Get these!
This is my second time buying these shoes bc I’ve tried so many others from sketchers to doc martens and I’m glad I came back to these. The first pair only lasted me Almost a year so I’m hoping these last me longer. I am a server and I work ALOT so I’m not sure if it’s bc of that that my first pair didn’t last long but let’s see. I’m happy to give them another try. Love love love
These arrived in the mail today, and will go back in the mail tomorrow. The fit is a little weird -- they're very narrow through the arch/mid-part of foot and very wide in the toe box, but true to size w.r.t. length. Not what I was expecting, but not totally uncomfortable, so I wore them to do an hour or so of light garden work when they arrived (e.g. watering). I kept feeling something poking my left foot so I popped it off to see what was in there (a plastic bit from manufacturing, it seems). When I went to put it back on -- the second time I had put it on and with maybe an hour of wear total -- the pull tab ripped right off. The pull tab isn't an optional feature -- it is necessary to get these on.I'm sad to return these but not willing to try a replacement or any other Bogs again due to the quality issues. Still looking for a decent garden shoe and regretting that I wasted time having these shipped out and dealing with returns/waiting for refund.
