These shoes are very easy for my 3 yr old to get on and off by herself. She loves puddles and they seem to be waterproof. Love the fact they are insulated so her feet stay warmer than they would rainboots. We are from the NW, and they seem to be wet weather approved. Lastly, during her puddle jumping the boots got pretty muddy. I was surprised by the material that it seem to dry off and dust off easily. Not staining the fabric too much. I’ll be purchasing for my other puddle parader, my 7yr old son.
We love baby bogs! My 3 yo son wore them until he sized out of them last year (wish they went higher then size 10!) & now my daughter will wear them! She is currently only wearing a size 3.5-4 shoe, so I stock up on bogs whenever I find them for a great price...like right now on Amazon! We don't use these for snow or rain play, as stomping/puddle jumping will of course result in wet feet. These are best suited, in my opinion, for everyday winter wear, to & from places, etc. We use Sorel boots for snow play & Hunters for rainy day play. The handles are great for independent toddlers who need to do it all by themselves, the soles are flexible & easy to walk in, and they are cute, comfy, & warm so I'm happy!
These little boots are really well made. They feel like solid neoprene and keep my little girls feet dry. She loves stomping around in them and couldn't be cuter. It is hard to find nice boots for kids +1Y but these fits really well. Slip on nice and easy and the velcro sticks nice and tight. Will most likely order another pair next year when they are too small.
These are wonderful in many ways.1. They're really warm (see the temp rating -- great for our cold MN winters).2. Easy to get on fat, toddler feet! This is a selling-point for me. I usually buy my daughter wide shoes, and these are so easy to get on her chubby feet.3. Great for toddlers who are just learning to walk. We got these a number of months ago when my daughter had only been walking for a short while and was a little tipsy. She's close enough to the ground that she seems to be able to feel her feet well, plus her feet spread out nicely in the boot. They've been great for this winter.4. They come in tiny sizes! We got them in a 5, but my friend got some in a 4 for her daughter. It's impossible to find winter boots in a 4!5. Big enough that there's some room to grow -- my daughter has been wearing them as she's been moving up the shoe sizes throughout the winter and they still fit nicely and are comfortable.6. We can wear them as a spring rain boot, too!7. Really cute design.I loved these so much that I bought a similar pair for my older kiddo for next year, and I've been thinking about getting myself a pair.
Cute and functional
Adorable little puddle boots. Waterproof until your child walks into a puddle that is deeper than the boots are tall. :PI bought these for my daughter in the spring, she has worn them through spring and summer, and now into fall. With socks when the temperatures were cooler, without socks in the summer. She wore them in the rain, in the mud, in the chicken coop, in the garden and in the field. The handles cut into the sides make it easy for a child to put them on by themselves; my 2 yr old can put them on without my help. They hold up well. My daughter's boots have withstood every abuse she has put them through so far. They are a bit stained now, but there are no worn spots, or holes. The soles are still intact. They are quite durable. I have thrown them in the washing machine and then let them air dry - I have no idea if I was supposed to machine wash them, but they made it through just fine.Fantastic little boots. Worth every penny.
Bought these as a winter boot for my 12 month-old son. I buy the kids version of Bog boots for my older son every year and they are great. I was hoping for toddler boots that are warm, relatively water proof and not too clunky, so that he'll be able to walk in them. Thanks to the handles, they are very easy to get on and off and my son was able to walk well in them. I haven't been able to test the rest (warmth and water resistance) yet, since it is still September, but I don't expect the boots to be fully water proof. Since we won't ever spend more than an hour or two outside in the snow, I think they'll be fine. The are lined and, from experience, I know that the neoprene alone keeps feet warm and insulated when in motion. However, I will probably have my son wear these boots with a pair of thick socks because the lining seems a bit thin and he won't be moving around in them as much. True to size.
These boot were a hit! I bought them for my three year old. I sized up since it's only fall and I am hoping these will fit through the winter and rainy spring season. They have plenty of growing room but she can still walk comfortably in them. She is able to easily pull the on and off and loves the animal print. Every time we go out, my daughter gets compliments on these boots. They are warm and water-proof.My only compliant is that they are a bit short with cut-outs to pull them up and when my daughter splashes in puddles (as toddlers will do, of course) she sometimes gets the bottom of her pants wet. And I doubt she will be able to stomp through snow very deep in these.
